It's sad that guys can be nearly naked like I've seen dudes dressed as Tarzan with like toned bodies who I definitely thought was hot but didn't harass them. Now that's not to say ladies can't be creeps, women are starting to creep on dudes more and more as time goes on. I always crossplay as men and even I had to deal with this w/ girls. However I do noticed that female cosplayers tend to be blamed for what happens to them and that sucks. Not saying you're doing it but other ppl do :/

@@Soulsphere001 My friend once cosplayed Wonder Woman a guy grabbed her breasts then when she smacked him told her she shouldn't be wearing clothing like that cause she's asking for it.

Personally if someone told me to take my top off as like a joke or something and after stalking me I would straight up slap him across the face. That’s just NOT something you say to anyone boy, girl, or any gender

OMG, this happened at one of my first cons!! I was with my friend, and she was in this lolita outfit. We were having a good time, just settling into things during the first day and chatting with some friends from school when this SUPER creepy guy came up and sat by her on the couch she was sitting on.... at TWO-SEATER couch. She'd sat there because she had this knee condition and needed to put her feet up for a while, and when her feet went down, suddenly this greasy-faced, pock-marked and SMELLY guy sits next to her. Seriously. He looked like he hadn't bathed or washed his clothes in DAYS. We were shocked, because he didn't even ask to sit there, didn't even SAY anything, just sat super close to a girl he didn't know. He then proceeded to try and interject into our conversation very rudely, acting like he knew what we were talking about... when we had been talking about our high school and we KNEW he hadn't been a student there. Finally, we made a quick excuse and dashed off; mostly through my urging and action. I don't like strangers, especially weird guys. I can sort of... sense creepers. I can just feel it in my gut when a guy is a weirdo, and I was right this time too. I had grabbed my friend and pulled her into the crowd of the dealer's hall to ditch this guy, but this was a TINY con in a small hotel. Sadly... chances were high that he'd find us again. AND HE DID. Many, many times... that WHOLE weekend. The next time he showed up, we were trying to get some quick dinner.... we'd gotten hot dogs from the hotel concessions.... poor luck on our part, since he again showed up and sat by her, then stared as she ate the hot dog. I again made excuses and hauled her off to a panel, finding seats where he could NOT get close to her. But this bastard just kept SHOWING UP. I swear, I was totally creeped out, I started feeling pukey whenever he approached because this was like, my first convention, I didn't know what a con stalker was, all I knew was that this creepy, pervy dude was following my friend around... even cornering her when she had to rest her knee and I was getting something for her.. he went after her when she was alone and obviously unable to walk! I wanted to scream at this dude to go away... I even heard him talking about having a hotel room and wanting her to come see it. I made it a point from then on to get a group around us at all times, so that even when creeper boy showed up, he had NO place to sit. I haven't had a con-stalker incident since, but I'm ALWAYS on red-alert for it at cons now because of that one dude.

Next time that happens, FIND A SECURITY GUARD. Tell him what is going on and point the creeper out to him. If seeing you pointing him out to security doesn't scare him off, being escorted off the premises by security and having his weekend pass taken away will certainly let him know that his behavior is unacceptable.

haha I would have have done something about it. You don't want to start confrontation thats true but if you dont do or say anything to them about it.... then they're just going to continue doing it. Actually thats probably the reason why they do it because they know or think that the person they're creeping on won't retaliate.

While I understand that people don't like to get into confrontations, it's important to either let the person know that what they're doing is unacceptable or let security know about what they did. The more complaints the person gets, the more likely either they'll realize they're doing something wrong or security will deal with them. The worse thing you can do is let them do what they're doing.

I was dressed as MeMe-chan from MEMEME! this one year. My friends and I were standing in line at the hotel restaurant waiting to be seated. Some guy walks up to us and is complimenting my cosplay. I'm really flattered so we talk a little about this and that, much to the dismay of my friends for whatever reason. He takes off after a while and we get our food. The next day I was still MeMe-chan and I run into the guy again. Half my friends decided to just split off so it was just me and two other pals. Hashtag TrueFriendsDon'tDitch. Anyways, we're headed to go get some ice cream at the Maid Café and I ask him if he wants to join us which he does. We get there and the conversation starts to kinda dwindle and he's pretty much silent the whole time while my friends and I talk and enjoy our ice cream. He's sitting right next to me and very blatantly staring at my ass which I knew lots of people were doing that weekend but to have it right in front of me with him so obviously staring felt pretty weird. After we finish and leave, the guy continues to stay with us.. I guess it isn't so weird but he is still, by-and-large, a stranger. He starts trailing behind us by a few feet and follows us around for like three hours, still entirely silent. At this point my friends and I really wanted him to leave but we didn't know what to do in that situation so we decided to go to the bathroom and wait for him to leave on his own. We were waiting in there for TWO HOURS before he finally takes off. We kept sending our most discreet looking friend to check whether or not he left. After the two hours my friend checks and he calls out to her and says, "Hey I've got a panel so I need to go" and THAT'S when he finally goes away. I always ask myself how long would he have stayed if he didn't have a panel. *Shivers*

I'm 16, I don't think I'd do a revealing cosplay at any point, (it would only be very little showing anyway) but if I did and someone did that to me or any of my friends (their older but still) I would slap or even punch them!!! We do this for fun! Not for creepers like them to make comments or take photos without are permission. Or to just be dam right creepy!!

Guys, please step up and say something to creepers. Even if he left your girl alone he probably moved on to some other girl:( In situations like this always say something, no matter it youre a guy or a girl you can pick up those creepy vibes. Dont think youre a good person because you wouldnt be that creepy, if you see something bad going down and you do nothing about it then youre not as good a person as you thought:/

Hey, sorry to hear about this. I was at the same con, even was one of the guys to get a photo of your girlfriend (I was the NCR ranger) but also glad to hear it didn't totally spoil the con or escalate any farther. As for a critique of the vid, I would suggest maybe record the audio track a few times, make a few notes for reference, because over all you do a great job with narration, but there are a few points that sound pretty rough. as far as the idea of the series, very cool, reminds me of a lot of good memories from cons.

you think so? i wasnt sure how to do these videos. On my reviews and other videos i record a few times and write it down, but i was thinking on the story time videos i would just do it once to make it sound more like i was telling a story. but if that isnt working good, i will try it the other way

Luke Triton You seem to be giving off the impression that it would be less creepy if the man were in cosplay... I assure you, it's equally creepy no matter how you're dressed, not to mention completely unacceptable behavior and borderline sexual harassment. If it were a one-off joke from a man cosplaying as a character known to be dirty minded and/or have perverted tenancies, I can understand that, it's fine. Jokes can easily cross the line, though, especially if they keep being perverted or suggestive to the same girl repetitively.

OraNui56 Imma jump in here and say that dudes like that exist everywhere. Her being Yoko might not even have triggered him into turning into a creep. There's a guy at my school who acts exactly the same, and I don't walk around showing off my body. I wear layers and layers of clothing (skirt, tights, shirt, cardigan, jacket and scarf). Sooo, she could have been fully dressed in tons of layers of clothing like me. He'd probably still be a creepy-ass stalker~
