Indra nooyi is commendable in business. She has to understand what people are understanding and have understood about artificial sugar, organic products amd non-GMOs. People learn by experience to live. Indra learns the trade and talks business. She has to understand the bad future of people being created by artificial sugar, GMOs and other chemicals. Even the hotels started serving natural brown sugar. Best to drink is water and not beverages. She may drink more water than pepsi but she cannot talk for sake of business. Business companies are only to make profits to run their life and not to care the healthiness of people.

This interview had potential to be something magical. Don't get me wrong: Indra Nooyi is an inspiration. She articulates herself very well and makes valid points that resonate with all of us. But the interviewer didn't engage with her responses! He had his set of questions and stuck to them despite anything Indra said. So, the interview came off disjointed despite Indra's brilliance. At the very end, while she is commenting on the two ways her husband can look at being on the bottom of her list, the interviewer brings the interview to an end because time was up. So we never hear what the second way is....

Mrs Nooyi says she does not know why people are moving away from artificial sweeteners and non GMO food because there is nothing wrong about them and she never read anything saying these are not safe. I stopped thinking right there that she can be a role model. "GMO, nothing is wrong with it and I don't know why people worry about those sort of issues". Mrs Nooyi, people worry about their food, because eating well is the first way to stay healthy.

If any man would have said "be thankful you are on the list" he would have lost his CEO job. Women in the company would have revolted. he would have been cancelled. Spouses of successful people , men or women, have to make huge sacrifices and put up with a lot. When it is the woman putting up with it, there is talk of unpaid work and patriarchy. When it is the man, then no such talk. I would look forward to Indra giving a talk to wives of successful men of how they can support thier husbands. And perhaps Indra talking about unpaid work - does she consider parenting as "work"
