Tony Levin. A journeyman musician who must have a million stories about creating music with my favourite artists like Lennon, Armatrading, Crimson, and even our Canadian boy Gowan! He'd probably have a more interesting perspective of Gabriel's career than Peter the introvert! And then there's the whole area of being a Stick pioneer... he must be a fascinating person. He's gone dark on social media since COVID hit--he's a guy who's lived his whole life on the road, so I really hope he's doing ok.

Steven Wilson. He is a writer/producer and is just a very creative at sound design. To me when I first heard In Absentia album, it was an eye opener to me and so fresh from what was out at the time. He continues to put out some fantastic stuff. Also over all of these years he had done a lot of his music in his home studio himself and I believe he was pretty much self taught on audio engineering. Also he has a massive record collection.

Absolutely agree with that. She has always been a 10 and still is. Talented, intelligent, and beautiful. A rare combination. I must add a beautiful person as well. I don’t listen to or care much about the new current day artists. I lived through an era that had the best music ever. Nothing compares to that era. Watching them do that 2019 KAABOO concert that you can see right here on KZbin, they all still sound amazing. She's right, the chemistry is still amazing. YES! She has such a pretty face, and a pretty smile from her chocolate brown eyes to her luscious, full lips, and she's a woman who seems to be always smiling due to her outlook on life. She's thoughtful and pays attention to the conversation, unlike many famous people who see themselves as above the lowly "regular" people. She always had such a hot petite active body, and appears to still have that healthy, sexy body. I always found her so attractive not just because of her looks, but because she is a musician, and an active artist, she's intelligent, confident but not aloof or condescending at all, she seems very nice. Oh, DAMN! She used the word, "MYRIAD," and used it CORRECTLY! She just increased her attractiveness by 50% by that.

Susanna may be part of the reason I am married to my wife going on 25 years. As a young man I'd always be smitten with Susanna's side glance through that long curly hair. I have to be honest here, I've never heard Susanna Hoffs talk (that I'm aware of) and this interview is so inspiring and heartwarming. I've been watching music videos from some of my most favorite bands and I started getting a lot of Bangles recommendations and then this came up. I normally just hit the next button when an interview comes up between songs but I can't stop listening. I don't know who the guy is doing the interview but I really enjoy the relationship that they have. Susanna seems so down to earth, intelligent, articulate, and a genuine artist in every sense of the word. I was struck by how much passion she has for music and I could only wish that I had something like that in my life. Both of them seem to have this amazing love for music. Listening to this just made me feel good and that's something I think we all need right now.

I love Susanna's explanation of how she felt about her music from the time she followed the Beatles. I love her and the bands feelings of just some individuals getting together and banging out some music in a relaxed cordial environment because it felt right, it felt good. I had a band in the late 60's and through early 70's. The Beatles Shea Stadium appearance changed my life for good. Paul is still my favorite artist all time. I took some of my friends and we even went to the same college in order to keep the band together as we continued to get better and was hooked. I was able to pay for my first two years of college by playing music. Unfortunately, our band had to be over because of the Vietnam War, everyone of us went to serve. When we finished our commitment to our Country some of us found ourselves married with a child, now we couldn't take the same risks to start a band, had to pay the bills. Sorry this isn't about me but i was just relating to the feelings Susanne and her band friends felt. The music and performing and being on stage and doing music and the audience was loving it and reacting and being in the bars and the small venues or at a lake resort, or on someones farm, it was amazing and the feeling has been in my heart and thought everyday. I am retired now and my daughter is raised and in music so now i am planning to play small venues again. I know how Susanne feels and she did it at a huge level and she played the same artist covers as we did in addition to originals and also Motown which was popular, we called it soul, so fun. Watching this awesome interview and hearing what Susanne says about the feeling and camaraderie and the venues and just sitting around in a room, or by a pond or lake, or in the garage or patio and just doing a little acoustical says it all. Thank you, thank you so much for bringing back some of my life best memories. YOU ROCK SUSANNA.
