You can really see that Penn is pretty disturbed with this show, it just shows how much he cares for not only the show but the implications it will bring to the audiences.

He's also a bit neurotic and very rational, but if you think about it that makes him perfect for the job.

John Stamos looked so unlike John Stamos in this role that I didn't realize he was actually John Stamos LOLOLOL. Seriously though, I thought he looked familiar but that salt and pepper hair really messed me up! But omg he's hysterical. I really haven't seen him in any interviews that I can think of and he's just naturally hilarious; SO right about the therapists.

Penn would have made such a great Ted Bundy, as far as casting goes. In a way, the character of Joe is a reminder that 'charming, psychopaths' exist and have always existed and they are always the most dangerous predators because you don't see them coming. I know he's worried about the social implications of portraying Joe, but I see it as a timely reminder for an overly trusting, social-media driven generation.

I want to hear more from Elizabeth! I've watched a few interviews and the hosts always ask Penn and Stamos and Shay questions and seem to skip over Elizabeth. She is so engaging

It’s funny how penn can’t look directly into every interviewer’s eyes. It’s something I’ve noticed from past interviews as well 😂

Foster Child he’s very articulate. I always assumed he was thinking of what he was going to say and how to say it. I don’t make much eye contact myself while I speak but I will when someone is speaking to me. He seems to do the same. Also, they have an audience so he’s looking around at a lot of people. With that said, I’ve noticed it too like you mentioned in one on one interviews that he’s not the best at eye contact.

I don’t mean to be rude, but I think if you put the interview in the thumbnail this would blow up. I thought this was gonna be a review style video on the show not an interview.

Great interview :) im glad that Penn said what he said about being charming but still being psycho.. That is actually their strategy, so its very good that he portrayed Joe like that... Im much more aware now of people who are nice to me... Simply, this show made me paranoid 😅

Damn this show is very underrated. I believe this show is better than Riverdale. Btw Elizabeth Lail is kinda the lovechild of Christina Applegate and Juliette Lewis while Penn is a slim version of Henry Cavill 😁 edit: every show that have Blake Neely and Greg Berlanti in it then it's a 98% guaranteed.

KATHLEEN MACDONALD Why on Earth would you be enamoured with Joe? He’s a delusional erotomaniac with no regard for the autonomy of other people. He’s not meant to be liked, much less loved.

@@haggisa Penn would be so happy to hear this. Joe is a twisted character, which bodes well for the average person's twisted mind. This is likely why people are so enamored by him.
