I bought the original several years ago from QVC. It was made of wood and converted into a whole table not just half. After a few a few years, it rotted and I had to throw it away. Was hoping to get another just like it but have to buy 2.

i was about to say the same they promise one thing but never deliver that think looks like it would break at 500lbs or less, what i dont like about these is that you need to buy 2 not like the other convertible benches they are one and turns into a full picnic table with two benches already...then back to one bench....tho if they made it from a material like that the kind i like then we are getting somewhere.

dreamkiss4u you can build one for way less then that out of the synthetic decking boards, and it will last a lot longer !!! Lol

Like the idea. I will build better. 6 months to pay.. Lol. The thing will cost me less than 150 for both and lockers, I guess carpenters have a hard time buying things when they can build them.. 😉
