Really enjoyed watching that nice one on the first start up 👌🏼 I’ve done pretty much the same swap in my anni although it was a 3.2 out of my old Audi a3 8p and dsg. Good to know about the valve cover as I really want to do that with mine ( if I can find a mk4 r32 valve cover 😅) and fit the r32 engine cover. Again really enjoyed that man

Thank you mate, that’s interesting, did you run into any issues with it being from a later year 3.2? I put a 3.2 in my red Anni, loved it but just span up a lot 😂

@@antonlevelup I’ve not got it on the road yet as I still need to figure out driveshafts as I’ve kept the transfer box on the gearbox for possible awd swap in the future. I used a mk1 tt engine loom and got it converted by a well known vw guy. Some (vw gurus) said it wouldn’t work as it should but everything works fine haha. Ye I’m guessing it’ll spin up a just hoping the smoother dsg stops that a little but I’ll see

Literally my dream conversion 😭 Always wanted a Mk4 r32 with DSG I was tempted by the idea of finding LHD ones in Europe. But just couldn’t justify the price cars are going for in EU, and that it’s LHD. This is honestly the perfect video for a dreamer like me and something I would 100% consider doing too. Thank you! I look forward to seeing how this turns out.

Hi did you do any wiring cut on the loom to the ecu..? Or did you just take the audi loom,ecu and fuse bix plug and play.? Would like to do my mk6 gti to R23 motor keep it maual
