Converting a Sodastream Terra to use a large C02 Tank

This video shows what I had to do to install an adapter to my Sodastream Terra home carbonator. Because both the Terra and the Art models come with a non-threaded connector, the typical adapter kids seen online did not work without some modification. The new C02 bottles use what the maker calls a quick connect C02 canister. What this means is the canister does not have a threaded top. While the quick connect design is convenient and fast it leaves one wondering what the purpose is. If you use make so much seltzer water that being able to quickly swap in new C02 canisters is a chore, perhaps the manufacturer should redesign for high capacity.
What I found was that in addition to my existing 5lbs C02 tank and the adapter hose that I found online, I also needed to search-for and then buy a quick connect adapter and a pressure regulator that could handle over 400 PSI.
