I'm planning to replace Wurkkos FC11 4000K for nicer and maybe warmer LED but I'm worried it wont be as throwy (use will be cycling and walking in trails and nature).

@@esvegateban Hello sir. I am sure they are different sir. 519a 2700k is quite very warm. Some people think it's too orange but it's good in wet dark forest, wet asphalt road. I often use 2700-3000k for riding my motorcycle on the road. This tint gives me a better visibility than 4000-4500k. However 4500k is not bad. But personally I like 2700-3000k more. Looks like dedoming leads to a warmer tint. I have seen this also on others.

The 519A is capable of much higher output compared to the old 219B while sacrificing so little in CRI.

@@brianchung1364 The 219B tops out around 500 lumens while the 519A driven at 6A should be pushing over 1300 lumens and that should be a noticeable difference.

6 amps for sub 1 min or LED burns out or light gets too hot to hold. Peak lumens are paper data, 519A is still an improvement and worth buying if your looking to buy something now.

Oh. Dedomed emitters. I tried dedomes too with SST20 and LH351D with ethyl acetate but both of them failed. SST20 was a dud after dedome and LH351D was still working but I accidentally damaged the phosphor giving a very angry blue that hurts the eyes. Lol. What method of dedome do you use? 🙂🙂🙂

With this led, I saw a guy in Wurkkos Facebook group dedomed this led by just used fingers to remove the dome! So I tried it and it works! This led is good. It doesn't get damaged. For other led, I dedome using a cutter to cut the dome. I have a special ruler to help me doing this. However, dedome the led is still very hard to do. Thanks for watching.😊

คืองี้ครับ ยอมรับว่าไม่ได้เก่งอะไรมาก็เลย ก็หาวิธีตามยูทูปครับ ผมอาศัยไปอ่านของฝรั่งเยอะ หลอดนี้ 519a มันเอาโดมออกง่ายมาก แค่เอาเล็บดึงซ้ายทีขวาที หลุดเลยครับแล้วมันมีเหมือนกระจกบางๆ เคลือบอีกทีเลยไม่มีปัญหาครับ ลองดูครับ แสงดีนะ สวยมาก แต่ถ้าหลอดอื่นๆ ที่ผมเคยทำ ผมใช้ไม้บรรทัดอลูมิเนียมของลูกสาว มันมีรูกลมๆ ที่เค้าเจาะมาแล้ว มันพอดีหลอดเลยครับ วางทับให้หลอดโผล่ขึ้นมาจากรูแล้ววางใบมีสไลด์ตัดไปเลยครับ สวยงามแน่นอน แต่จะปาดได้มากหรือน้อยขึ้นอยู่กับความสูงของโดมและความหนาของไม้บรรทัดครับ ลองดูนะครับ ส่วนใช้น้ำยา เคยอ่านมาแต่ไม่กล้าทำคำรับ ขอบคุณที่รับชมครับ หากไม่เป็นการรบกวน ฝากติดตามช่องด้วยนะครับ 😊🙏

I want to do this dedome too. As far as I know, when you remove the lens on this LED, you are left with a small glass, under which there is a phosphor. Is this glass firmly glued or is it likely to fall? What do you think?

How does the output on this 519A compares to the LH351D 5000K you tested before? I accidentally damaged the LH351D in my S2+ while attempting to dedome it recently and I plan on replacing it with the 519A as soon as Simon gets them back in stock (hopefully soon).

I think this 519a is better and cheaper. I bought it cheaper than LH351D. It's quite easy dedomed 519a - just use you nail to remove the dome. Thanks for watching sir 😊.

Had plenty of 351D all except 1 have green somewhere in the beam. 519A over 351D by a country mile.

@@300ZCorradoVR6Z I bought 519a from Shopee Thailand. It's really cheap. The led + PCB is just only about 2$. Dedomed makes it throw better and seems a bit brighter because the hot spot seems more focused.

Hello. I have S2 Plus 4000K. I like flood than throw. If I dedome and use TIR 45 or 60 degrees, will it be brighter, warmer, and floody? Is the beam going to be strange? Kind regards.

Pretty abnormal way to use a flashlight. I usually pan sideways slowly so I can see the surrounding. I Can’t even tell what you were trying to demonstrate with that part. The whole clip is way too fast to be useful without pausing. You get a Like for effort.
