I saw Conway ìn the early 70's at a club in San Antonio, TX. I was standing at the stage and he came in and looked me square in the eye and said "Hello,Darlin"!!! He then sang the song, and I will never forget it. He made me feel sooo special, like we were the only ţwo ppl in that big room. Thank you Conway for making me feel so alive again when I was sooo down on my luck! RIP my friend.

@Malinda Givens I never got to see him.perform in person but I saw him ad he waved at me. My two teens and I were staying at a motel about 2 hours from home and as we got ready to leave one morning I saw a big bus with Harold Jenkins in big letters on the side. I told my kids that's Conway Twitty, he stayed the same hotel last night. I waved as they pulled out and Conway waved back. I'll never forget that morning. Not.long after he recorded my favorite song that he sings last here. Julia
