This may be why the unit only allows the max temperature to be 450 Degrees.

The Max Wattage in our testing it took was around 1500 Watts. When cooking with one shelf the heating element can use the full 1500 Watts, but when two shelfs are going it gets divided ~ 750 Watts per shelf in the dual configuration.

The Unit does not remember last used cooking temperatures and times.

Great review! I've had commercial grade double ovens--- it DOES take a little learning curve to operate both in tandem effectively. As they too are obviously stacked.

What about the materials? Is it teflon? So is it less safe than the oven model which is stainless steel?

the basket is coated in a type of teflon, said to be better... Comparing it to stainless steel I would say it is less safe still.

@@ChefDawg Thank you. I decided to go with the Dual Heat Air fryer/Oven to give it a try. Of course that one also has some pros and cons.
