Yeah, though all these meals and cooking is incredibly fun and look nice, why spend all the rupees on wheat, sugar, butter, milk, or spice or spend forever looking for honey and gormet meat when you can just throw an apple and a shroom together and it does the job to replenish health/status effects that you made the food for in the first place? When you're about to run out of stamina and fall off a cliff you aren't exactly going to be picky in what does the trick, plus it feels like a disservice to the amazing food to just use it to get up a tower faster or not die swimming to a korok seed.

In my first play through the furthest extent of my culinary encyclopedia had to be 20+ Hearty Fruit Second time around it came to “what if I add wheat, sugar, or butter to everything?” This however, is simply mind boggling. I didn’t even know how to make bread!

Coming back to this video a year later, and it's so cool to see all the recipes, and knowing that Tears Of The Kingdom has almost double the recipes, I'd love to see it as possibly a 300k special video possibly.
