Jamerrill! You are God's example of a humble heart! Cooking for a fam in despair so they don't have to think about food or what to cook or feed the fam, such a relief! And to top it off you are so careful to meet their dietary needs. As someone who has dietary issues, I know that makes what you are doing means even more. PLUS, lil hint, if you confuse the two instapot covers you can mark the covers and they pots with a sticker or nail polish or a permanent marker, what ever your heart desires, so that you can identify easily which cover goes with which pot.....you may only need to mark one. May God bless you are you bless others.

I have found so often when people are in a crisis, they never know how to answer "how can I help?". "Can I bring you a meal?" Has become my go to now. Don't even make them think about what help they need. They have always been so grateful. Feeding them and their family a wholesome meal instead of fast food can really help their moral during a hard time.

Jamerill you are such a kind and caring person always ready to use your cooking talent to help out others in need. You have been through many medical challenges and I can relate to that as I've been sick since I was a little girl and 12 years ago when I was 32 (working as a teacher and being a foster Mum) my lifelong specialists gave me two years at the most to live which was realistic considering my extensive health history. Whenever someone is sick my immediate reaction is either to cook meals or helping out with childcare which with my limited ability isn't always easy but I'll always listen and react to where God sends me because I know that He will give me the energy I need. God bless you and your loved ones Jamerill. It's Christmas eve here and sadly I've lost both of my parents in the past two years and this is my first Christmas on my own. My best friend of 34 years (we met at school at age 10) is the sister I've always wanted (my sister lives on the other side of the world) and I'm blessed that her and her husband's extended families have adopted me. Last year on Christmas Day I was cooking a roast when about 8 little birds started flying up and down in a figure eight over our backyard only. I called Dad to come look and we thought it could be Mum coming to say hi and I'm wondering if that will happen again this year. I hope that you have an awesome family Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and our salvation. Xx

Meal trains are so important to show love to people having a hard time. Our church does them frequently. When I was little, my mom was always taking food to people she never knew. That has stayed with me my whole life. I pray for your family to have a blessed Christmas

Your neighbors are so fortunate to have you helping them. I wish I had neighbors like you. I'm a disabled, single senior (15 surgeries, can barely walk) and my neighbors will watch me struggle to bring a single bag of groceries from my truck to my home and ignore me if I call out for help. There's only one I can call but he wants $5 for every bag he brings in.

A good use for leftover abundance of any pureed squash soup is to add it to another soup. Freeze in 1-2 cup servings, then take one out when making a casserole or soup and use it instead of one cup of the liquid. You could have used a cup in the sloppy joes or in the sauce for the pasta bake. I think that's an old Mom Hack for picky eaters. Thanks for the video

You have a beautiful, loving heart! As someone who is very sick, and has also had seasons of caring for sick friends and family, I can honestly say, this type of help would be a godsend. You can't always change what someone you love is going through. However, you can always do what you can to be a ray of light in the dark, and take on the small things that allow them to concentrate on the emergency at hand. Thank you for being a light in your friend's life, the world truly needs more people who do that! Even now, as I'm dying in slow motion, if I hear that a family is struggling, I will go shopping in the pantry and do a surprise grocery drop. We may have nothing else at the moment, and we may be close to losing it all, but we are blessed with a pantry I have been building, and I feel more alive when I can be of service to others in some small way.

I just started to viewing your page. I was fortunate to listen to your story of how you grew up. I was so inspired by you. I admire you. I had a rough time growing up. I was adopted by my family. I was raped by my brother in law. God blessed me by allowing me to go to school all the way to get my Doctorate. I stayed in school to deal with the pain. There has been many years I felt destroyed and just got by smiling and hiding the ugly truth. I'm glad and honored to have found your page. It is 11:45 at night and just finished watching the video. I will continue to follow your page. I'm learning so much. I needed to make dinners that will last me for weeks at a time. Instead of cooking repeatedly all the time. Love ya and I haven't even met you. Your kitchen is amazing!

I’m a person with gluten, dairy, nut, egg allergies. How refreshing that even as a volunteer helping this family out you were sensitive of their dietary needs. I have been in front of trained chefs whose reaction to my needs was. “Well I’d just kill myself”. It’s not that hard just cook as plain as possible using whole ingredients and avoid spices unless labeled. You are a gem and the friend I would pray for if I was your friend in need. Hope all of you are well and have a wonderful Christmas. Bless you and your family friend and family.

The ones even on TV are rude when it comes to certain things. Just wait until they are in need for special foods! Just take salt, and adding so much to the water when making pasta! Not a clue about people with heart problems that must watch their intake. I don't have allergies, but watch what I put in food and do my own canning, so I know exactly what's in it. Sending best wishes to EVERYONE for a Merry Christmas, or what other holiday you might celebrate, and a Happy New Year.

Just a thought .. I put my hot leftovers in a canning jar with a seal and ring … I let it seal on the cabinet . I put it in the fridge after it cools. It is good for one month in the fridge . I write what it is on it with a permanent marker, the date it was made and the date it expires. It has to be kept in the fridge. We are a family of 2 now . We had 7 and it’s sometimes hard to adjust the amount you cook. Lol I have done this for over 25 years it works out great.
