In 57 more days I will start my flip flop for 66 days northbound and then take a break in the summer with my family and then flip to Katahdin in September to finish up. I will be at trail days so hope to see all you and your friends. Curious to see how far I will get. But sadly I am not solo so my mileage will be lower and almost normal. Huge 4 feet snow storm during the week is hitting eastern Canada so that is great for winter sports.

Your van is the same year as my Dodge Ram 1500 and mine is a 4x4 I’ve had for 4 and a half years now. I maybe getting a camper sometime in the late spring and my truck can pull it since I have a V8 Hemi. By the way, those steaks look really good!

8:59 The famous MSR Whisperlite (aka: "Whiskerlite" for its tendency to burn the facial hair off of guys who overprimed them). I sold a bunch at REI in the 1980s, and cleaned a bunch for other hikers way back when I section hiked the Long Trail, giving me the trail name of "Tinker". Nice, relaxing video. Thanks, Kelly.

Wow, those steaks looked amazing! Hitting it on a 30 miler! Wow, you been hiking more since Florida? O am taking my Sprinter camper van down the Oregon coast into California in February and March. I just bought it several months ago so I am excited to adventure. Will be doing a lot of day hikes and kayaking when the weather allows. Looking forward to next video! Anyway, Kelly, love your videos! Red flag #1 on this one. The dude sits in your van while you pump the gas while he's playing on his phone? Absurd and ignorant. He forgot to put on his hoodie to fit the part. Red flag #2, Walmart steak is not good and I wouldn't eat it. Too many antibacterial cleaners in it. Their meat and seafood products have a Lysol flavor that can't be covered up.
