People don't understand how easy it is to fully make a track in PT. Everyone always uses other DAW's, Ableton, FL, Logic then port to PT. I've always done everything right inside PT from start to finish since 2005 when i got my first PT set-up. Never had a problem with creative limitations at all. Love to see other creators using it as a production tool as well as mixing. And Xpand is the truth!! I honestly use that more than my Kontakt expansions…😅 Keep bangin tho. 💪

Does it have customizable shortcuts? BTW, any tool can be used. PT had too many limitations and the company seemed not to wanna listen to what users wanted seeing they were ''industry standard'' That's my understanding. Any DAW out there is ''good!'' Cubase and Studio one is even easier than Pt and fully customizable as well. It's on the USER in the end. Cheers!

@@cvaderx No, PT does not have custimizable shortcuts. But, it has come leaps and bounds since PT 8 with completely revamping it's MIDI interface and the things you can do with it. I absolutely love PT and solely create and mix in it. But like you said, every DAW out there can get the job of creating music done, it's just a matter of which one a person decides to use.

Yes, I quantize after recording. I love the arturia v collection and komplete by native instruments. You can pretty much get any sound you want out of those libraries

you need to enable the metronome. its on the transport bar. Go to the window tab at the top of the screen, then go to transport. there's 4 buttons you can click in the bottom right hand corner. its the 2nd from the left button. Double click it and you can change how many bars you want. Hope that helps!
