Producing in Pro Tools I feel is complicated because it takes a lot of time to do things that in other DAWs are done with just one click, my DAW is Studio One, because I felt that FL Studio no longer provided me with what I needed.

It’s not that complicated. I can do a lot of the same things with one click. I’ve tried most of them and Protools is by far my favorite because of the layout and it fits my workflow. We all are looking for different things when we’re creating so it’s just a matter of preference. I’ve heard good things about studio one. I appreciate you for checking out the video though 🙏🏾

I notice when you do drums you use the raw sound files don't pro tools have a step sequencer to make life easier ? I also notice in the last video ,you said you used a third party sampler ,it don't have native sampler either ? I'm curious,I'm thinking bout getting this daw but my pro bros say nah don't do it .

Protools has a step sequencer you can get called Groovecell. I use Battery for my drums though. It’s what I started with and it’s what I know so I just stick with it. Sometimes I will just place drums on the grid though like I did in this video. At times, it can be simpler for me to work that way. When you learn Protools, I think it competes with all the other daws out there. I’ve tried them all but I didn’t really get a chance to do a deep dive on Ableton and FL Studio. I know a lot of people use FL and I like the way it sounds but Protools workflow is so convenient plus, most songs end up in Protools anyway so I’ve chosen to solely work in it.
