@@amirperrymusic Personally I felt like I had much more control with the things I was able to do on it. I used to be one of those guys who would say “protools? Nahh Fl and Ableton are the only two that can really make beats. But looking back now, Protools just gave me a bigger space to exercise better creativity. Sure it was a learning curve but your videos came in handy with everything. You are the guru of protools.

I just started using pro tools like a week ago getting the hang of it pretty fast. Been using fl studio to make my beats for a long while. I like the simplicity of pro tools easy to understand. What I do is I make and arrange my beat in fl studio and then I track out only my instrument bus, drum bus, 808 bus, and fx bus I used in fl studio. An just mix the bus of each in separate mixer tracks already arrange like I don't it in in Fl Studio. So I don't have to do the arrangement over again in pro tools part by part. Just a fast way for me to mix it in pro tools without having to track out every part of the beat. Something I came up with since I like using Fl studio for beat making and not mixing. But Im really starting to enjoy pro tools.

They each have things about them. Personally I just like Pro Tools because it pretty much does everything well whereas some of the other DAWS only do certain things well.

Fucking dope video man, A couple of questions tho ... 1) at what point do you print to audio? after everything is mixed and right before bouncing to a stereo file for mastering? also 2) is there a reason that some of the mono sound sources like the 808 or the kick in some of your other videos are on a stereo instrument track? is there an advantage to this instead of making it a mono instrument track? I see you have the 808 panned down the center anyway. but was wondering if it makes a difference to make it stereo instead. I appreciate you and this channel man its helped me out a lot!

99% of the hiphop producers are using Fl studio these days and you are holding on to protools.I respect that but give it a second thought.This channel will grow in no times if you do it in fl studio.Simple maths and a suggestion🙏

When you specialize in one area and you're the only one, you're more valuable to the people who really need you. I guarantee you out of those 99% of producers you speak of, I can run circles around 99% of them in ProTools. ProTools is in almost every major studio and that's never going to change. Knowing pro tools keeps me booked and busy. I have clients that won't even record without me because of my proficiency in the program. How many of those 99% do you think make a living from music? This Pro Tools guy does!

For anyone wondering about hi pass/lo pass filter or high cut/low cut. High pass let’s the lows come through. Low pass let’s the highs come through. At least that’s my understanding of it. This was always the most confusing to me lol.
