CJ that cut like butter! Excellent! It's cool to see in a quick timeline how the meat retracts on the bone, nothing but concentrating that flavor! Very awesome sir... And, everyone else... If you don't have a good cooking thermometer, get one!

Love this cook. I have a Ninja and 4 other grills/Smokers and I really enjoy cooking on this. Did chicken wings very crispy and two complete racks of St Louis ribs came out incredible. I’m in Florida and cook all year round outside. Keep it coming CJ

Just about to try this on my first cook of Jacobs Ladder Short Beef Ribs on my new Ninja XL Pro Connect. Yours look so good! Another half hour to go at room temp with rub before adding to the grill. Prepped half Oak, half Hickory pellets. Just afraid to add the meat during the initiation warm up when first switched on to smoke due to the excess white smoke that it generates! Most people wait a while even after the grill says 'add food'! Would you recommend it?

Was the little cup of smoke pellets is all that was used?
@CookingWithCJ10 ай бұрын
Yep! Gives you 45 minutes to an hour of smoke. And that’s usually enough.

I don't eat pork but you did really good on those beef ribs and that's what I eat and go to only restaurants that sell beef ribs! But I will give this a try on my ninja woodfire also. And I did give you a thumbs up! Great job

Love your videos, but what about after using, is there a firebox to clean, or any other maintenance? Looking at the pellets they seam half the size of other pellet grills? Have you tried them?
@CookingWithCJ Жыл бұрын
I’ve used up all my ninja pellets. I knock out all of the ash in the pellet basket and that’s about it. I’ll eventually do a video on cleaning and maintenance. Probably this next month.

I love the videos! Just got my ninja woodfire Christmas eve. Do you ever add more pellets and hit that woodsmoke button for a second ignition and round two for smoke?

Hey thanks! I’ve done it a couple times, but most of the time one cycle through is enough.

Hey CJ, will try this out on a THOR HAMMER, I guess it might be the same procedure for the Ninja Woodfire! I will go with your settings and comments of this one and the short ribs too ...I will let you know! Thanks for doing this for this cookware! It helps me a lot with using it!
@p33kabo069 Жыл бұрын
Never tried the short ribs or beef ribs but it is delicious 🤤 About 5 hours to reach 205-210 degrees! And I have a lot of leftover smokey fat in the drip pan to reused this tallow!!!

Those look great!!! Did you consider using a 2nd cup of pellets or was 1 smoke session enough? The forecast for STL is SNOW tomorrow and then below zero, so I haven't had a chance to use my new Ninja Woodfire. It's unpacked and ready to go, but I'll have to wait several days for it to get warmer.
