The Best Homemade Granola Recipe

Granola is good but homemade is the best.

THE BEST HOMEMADE GRANOLA
2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup Rice Krispies Cereal
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup raw pumpkin seeds
¼ cup chopped pecans
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup raisins
5 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons canola oil
Bake at 325 F or 165 C for 10 minutes. Stir, bake an additional 5 minutes.

I like granola but never made it myself. My son used to work at a health food place and would bring granola bars home that his boss said they couldn't sell because the sale by date was gone so they had to take them off the shelf but I never got sick from eating it they were still good. Freeze them and they are good for a while.

I have to say now that I make my own granola I don't think I'm going back to buying it at the store. Just because it's so easy and customizable to make. Lucky you to have gotten so many free granola bars 😁
