My Mom made this dish when I was growing up. She would set aside a serving without the onions and mushrooms for me, as I refused to eat them. Little did I know I was eating both from the soup mix and canned soup. 😊 I love this dish with the veggies as an old guy now. Thank you so much Ladies!

Y’all’s recipes remind me of my family and the meals my grandmother would make while I was growing up. That feeling is even better than how excited I am to make it for my kids. Then hopefully they’ll have wonderful memories of me making it for them that they can reminisce about when they’re grown up

I'm so glad you picked up where Steve left off and continued his legacy with this show. I was in complete shock after finding out that Steve had died shortly after his death, but having you two continue on always brings me happiness, especially when I see you cooking together. I have a tip to offer you when it comes to needing a larger skillet. Rather than adding your noodles, etc. to the skillet, add the skillet contents to the pot you just used to cook your pasta. It makes mixing a whole lot easier. I know for filming it makes things look nicer and is easier for others to see using the skillet, but mix in the pot and then add back to the skillet if necessary to film the " money " shot. My best to both of you. -- den in NH.

I made this last night for dinner! U ladies deserve a reward!! Being a senior n dealing with having to make substitutions, may I share? Instead of the beef tips/stew meat, I used a pound of hamburger. Instead of noodles bcuz I needed to make some homemade noodles n dry them, I just used some macaroni. I followed the rest of ur recipe. I am proud to say, my picky husband loved it n ask for more!!! U scored high points for this recipe. Thank u so much!! I will be looking at ur channel for more quick n easy recipes.

Another great looking meal girls. If you add a tbl spoon of oil to your pasta water it will prevent your pasta from sticking together. Just a little tip. Have a great day 😊.

This is such a great, hardy meal. I always loved the egg noodles; my sister loved it with rice. 🤦🏼♂️ But you did crush my soul. The world's only "W" is Lea and Perrins, everything else is black salty water. L&P actually brings flavor to your plate, not just sodium. Get the gravy a couple of good shots of Worcestershire sauce also. It really enhances the flavor

My third recipe I made this week from shotgun red , it was awesome , but I did simmer meat in crockpot for 2 hours . I can’t believe how easy and delicious this was !!!!
@jeepgirl68142 жыл бұрын
I always take the smaller amount n pour it into the larger amount. Like with this recipe, I would pour the meat/gravy mixture over the noodles. I would turn off the heat to the pasta when its done, leave the pot on the burner to stay warm, then pour the meat/gravy mixture over the hot pasta. That way it's not pouring a hot mixture over a cooled pasta. Looks delicious!! Great job, ladies!!

I made this and it was good. I added 2 big spoons of tomato paste to it for another flavor note which works for me. And I pureed up the onions in a food processor so they melted into the mix. I like the onion flavor but not so much the texture of onions.
