CABBAGE PAYASAM RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1.Cabbage (chopped very small) 200 - 250 gm
2.Milk 2 cups
3.Saffron(opt) A big pinch
4.Ghee 2 tsp
5.Condensed milk ¾ - 1 tin
6.Badam(almonds) 10 - 12
7.Nuts 10 - 12
8.Pista(opt) 10 - 12
9.Kismis(opt) 10 - 12
10.Cardamam powder ½ tsp
PREPARATION
1.Soak almonds, pista and cashew etc 1 - 2 hrs,peel and cut into julians,
fry slightly in ghee, add the cabbage saute for 5 mts till moisture
is absorbed.
2.Add the milk, add the saffron strands, boil stirring till reduced to half.
3.Add the condensed milk boil well 4- 5 mts, remove and set aside
10 - 15 mts adding cardamam powder,stirring.Serve.
