Hey Loli, dunno if you've seen my comment from a while ago, but have you heard about the manga Blade of the Immortal? It's one of the best samurai manga out there (alongside Ronin). The anime from 2019 is pretty good, though it's a bit rushed. There is even a sequel manga set in the Bakumatsu period. It was even an inspiration for Naruto and Sekiro. Sorry if I sound a bit annoying, it's just my first seinen manga after watching shonen animes ;)

@@Acesahn bro, just look at Japan sinks. Nuff said. I think the author was teasing a sequel with the end of the original, co sidering we now have one. Fox bit where she tells how she told a bully off...and then Eric goes "I was there, and everyone was happy because the bully picked up on all kids" which like gave me a pause...because Eric Estrada is like 15 years older than her. I'm assuming she's talking about the time she was a kid either in high school or younger...so is the implication that Eric Estrada hung around grade school-aged kids as an adult and already knew Vivica somehow? Despite not being her family or anything? Because that's kinda creepy. Because it's not like they're playing fictional characters who are closer in age/same age...they're starring as THEMSELVES. so they're their IRL ages. Now, I'm sure Daddy Derek, being a robot/reptilian didn't realize how it all sounds.

You could say that the Hollywood Parade segment isn't just fluff with Derek Savage boasting to himself, but as it comes after the online hate-mail segment it could actually have a useful lesson for kids. Millennials, who are all thirtysomethings now, thought they grew up with computers and the internet but modern youngsters in the iGen are absolutely MARINADED in always-online internet connectivity. Telling them to disconnect from all of the relentless web-spew and getting out in the world a bit is not a terrible message if the two scenes were associated with each other a bit more clearly.
