Thank you so much. I really enjoyed the walk through the beautiful welsh permaculture garden and both of you are so wonderful, it feels like walking and talking with friends.

I'm loving that we were both in West Wales at the same time this year - yes it was very chilly and you were very brave! Thank you for the lovely insight into Angies Garden

Thanks Meredith. I really enjoyed staying with Angie and exploring her garden. A really well established garden set up with lots of design consideration and love.

Lovely tour! My pollinators are more abundant this year (W Oregon) I'm on a city lot, and olive trying new plants I'd agree that the early green looks more like miner's lettuce - I have mache/ corn salad which self seeds, and comes again each winter. Just got a summer version, Doucette, and looking forward to those seedlings getting big enough to enjoy!

Wonderful property and tour, and so interesting to hear the history of the Commons and the permaculture movement in West Wales. Come to Vancouver Island and the southern Gulf Islands one day, Morag, for cool climate permaculture, Pacific Northwest edition :) We have a wonderful permaculture community who would love to host you! 🇨🇦 🏞️

it looks like it might mature into a "induced meandering stream". i think i would have tried to dig out deeper channels with full trees split into so so they can be made into debris check dams reminiscent of chinampas but ive been hooked on chinampas to create greater extremes so we can get peak production vs work

Smart ladies... Not hard to look at either ;) 20 years ago when you were 5, right? I'm picturing you walking home with mom from kindergarten with a bean sprouting from soil in a cup.
