Morag Gamble gives a talk about INCREDIBLE EDIBLES on stage at the 2016 QLD Garden Expo - following straight on from ABC Gardening Australia's Costa Georgiadis' morning ramble through the edible verge display gardens. (Filmed 10 July 2016).
Using a collection of plants she brought from her garden, Morag talks on a range of topics including:
- strategies to grow an abundance of food naturally
- exploring good plants for verge gardening
- building soil health
- worm towers
- choosing appropriate species
- the importance of diversity for resilience in a garden
- developing a polycultural garden
- creating the structure of your edible landscape with perennial edibles and self-seeding vegetables.
- designing for low energy, nutrient and water input.
