Cool Features on My Porsche Cayenne Turbo - Owner's Review

I too have a 2008 Cayenne Twin Turbo silver in color and I love it. My research told me the 2008 Turbo was the best year. I bought it with 40K miles. So, it was just getting broken in. (Never, ever buy a brand new car. The value drops by 30% once driven off lot after purchase. Terrible investment that way). ⁹It now has about 105k miles. I'm all about driving the hell out of a car. When I buy a Lamborghini or a 911 Turbo, Ferrari F50...it aint going to be sitting in the garage as a spectacle. 'Savoring' the car or something like that is pointless. Not, sure if you will cover this on your video, but if someone wants their 2008 cayenne turbo to be in its FASTEST mode possible. As in you want to street race someone off the line.....Press the PSM button to OFF position on upper middle dash. Put mode on SPORT. Lower down the suspension to lowest. And flip it into tiptronic shifter. Your twin Turbo cayenne will explode with power and speed like a jet engine. It's unbelievable fast!!!!!! And super fun to drive. I added a performance chip to improve the HP and of course air intake and exhaust I updated .

I have an 05 turbo and one of the cool features is you can roll the windows up if you forgot by holding the lock button on door handle. This way you don’t have to get back in and turn ignition back on to do so.

Noticed you have the comfort package on your turbo, similar to mine, but do you know about the keyless entry/exit and start. Your missing the plastic fob that goes into the ignition. Luckily it's like 38 bucks from a dealer. Never have to fiddle with keys again.

I know this video is old but I've had my 09 cayenne for years and only just found out the other day. I can lift the tailgate glass separately from the door itself. Like a jeep. There is a button under the rear wiper mount.

You just push the Windshield wipers handle AWAY FROM YOU and that's how the rear Windshield wipers work !!!

My 2005 Touareg has all of those options also. They are not Porsche features, they were first used on the Touareg and then moved to the Cayenne.

Great video - one more thing. If I remove the rubber mat from the center console, there is a z-shaped tool mounted beneath. Any idea what that is for?

@@CarFanatic Inside the center console (with the armrest for your right arm when you drive) - In the 'main' compartment, not the 'lid' compartment, if you remove the rubber 'floor' of that center console, you will see the tool mounted beneath.

Interesting. Not sure how the Porsche is connected then. When I dialed 911 by accident from my office phone in downtown San Francisco a few months ago, I had 3 police officers show up at my office 10 minutes later even though I hung up so quickly that I thought the call hadn't even gone through. They said when they receive a 911 call they come check it out no matter what. Maybe the car doesn't transmit GPS data so they couldn't locate it?!

Are you kidding a brand new cayenne with all the toys is 220000 pound s sterling the price of a house no Porsche or any vehicle is worth that ,,,and in about 12 years its worth about 6 grand, if you want to blow 214000 pounds go right ahead if you must why not wait for 6 to 7 years and get it for about 17 grand ,,personally i wouldn't buy one with your money never mind my own ,i will stick to my Lexus rx witch is a premium first class vehicle that beats Porsche in every area,,,,first for realibility 8 years in a row by JD power mine has 362000 miles on it now ,only figures Porsche can dream about ,so take the advice of a 44 year old Mechanic and buy a Lexus rx good luck guys you will need it if you buy a Porsche s
