Cutting this scene off before the lonely Jesus shot of Luke laying exhausted and alone on the table while everyone goes to celebrate without him is the absolute height of “missing the point of the scene”. This isn’t a triumphant victory to be celebrated. This is Luke’s moment of ultimate loneliness when he realizes even if he entertains and brings joy o people. Even if they flock to him and cheer him. That’s not lovenor fulfillment or real. It’s shallow and he is alone to suffer with his real world problems. Only ever. Wolves because he is their figure head and entertainer. Ya done missed the point man.
