It shows that he has a basic level understanding of punk. It's not even that, it's the market interpretation of punk. Cuz, in my opinion, punk is a mindset. It isn't a style, genre, nor any tangible. That's what corporate music is trying to sell. Do what you want to do and say regardless of the conformity of the current zeitgeist speaking against it. Punk is artistic freedom and MGK is just painting himself in a corner and claiming what is and isn't punk.. like wearing comfortable shoes isn't "punk." That's fuckin ridiculous

Am I the only one who doesn't think Noel is even that funny. He sometimes comes up with something funny, but then he butchers it and keeps it going on way too long. Together they are a solid pair, the dynamic is great, but Noel just doesn't make me laugh. Some of his bits are naturally funny ideas, but I'm never laughing because of his telling of the joke.
