This method has been used to paint massive busses, motorhomes, buildings and boats. Its one of the best methods.

Just a thought, that was cool with the projector, but you have a cnc table. Hand cut some squares or rectangle pieces out of the tube and then put them on the table and cnc cut your designs using the rapid THC feature on your table.

I use a mini projector with built in display so I don't need to carry my laptop. I can search the net and quickly show the customers how the project will look like. Cool video and store.

That projector is not a cheat. Camera Oscura is being used now and has been used by great artists for hundreds of years. Your projector is just a modern application. I like the results.

If you want to go the extra mile with this, for any type of surface that is not flat, you can get the correct proportions on your art work by using 3d projection mapping software. This will allow you to essentially warp the image around 3d surface. People use this software for putting videos on buildings and stuff like that. It's pretty amazing.

Nice trick. You should come up with some remote blinds/curtain for that skylight though. The skylight (and the rest of the shop) are fantastic, but I imagine it would be nice to cut off the light occasionally for certain projects. BTW, great job in making Wyatt look busy by having him hammer on random metal stuff in the background and walk around with a welding helmet on.

Very cool. I want to do some of this with artwork I do. I was wondering how much control you can have with a plasma cutter.

You have a ton of control and the kerf is very thin so you can get fairly detailed. It's the best for cutting metal
