Thanks for this video, I believe this is going to work for me, I mistakenly purchased the wrong control board for a button box, so now I need to clean the solder off all of the momentary switch terminals, which also means removing the switches from the project box and get to slinging, the only down side is that I have to now remove 23 stitches from the project box. Thanks again.

Nice tip. Unfortunately I can't do that with a board that is attached to the housing on my amp. I have figured out a nice method where I use a toothbrush to sweep away excess solder. It's been working out quite well.

I had some wire that I needed to remove some solder from the end of. I went to Home Depot but they didn't have that copper stuff to pull it out. I got a cardboard box with slick printed surface put the wire on the box and then drug my soldering iron over it. Solder stuck to the Box.
