Those wranglers are hideously renounced for having coolant problems. 98 grand Cherokee owner here. I have had to replace every major component except the core, pump and bypass hose. It's not that it was a bad design. But my poor girl was very improperly stored when I rescued her. Abuser had her parked out under a huge Douglas fir 100 yards away from the ocean. She was exposed to Coastal salt air and constant rain on the Oregon coast. About 6 grand in repairs, parts and mechanic bills later and she's driving better than ever before. Keep an eye on your stabilizer, tie rods, steering linkage and if you live in an ocean state ALL rubber and gaskets.
