Easy answer to your question on this one Marek. The nicest thing anyone has done for me was you recording and sending me an inspiring pick me up video message when I was lying helpless in hospital last year! The coolest of cool dudes, Marek

Early in January I tripped and fell flat on my face on concrete. Lots of blood but luckily didn't break anything. A lady walking her dogs came to my help and another lady came out of her house gave me a towel for my bleeding nose and a silver blanket thing as it was cold. The dog walker took me back to her home and called my brother who took me to hospital. My faith humanity was resorted by those lovely people who came to help me.

Nicest thing anyone has done for me was during a hospital stay, I was terrified about a (comparatively minor) procedure, and the man in the bay opposite me (Paul) took the time to reassure and comfort me, in spite of the fact that he was extremely unwell, bedbound and in pain. My problems were nothing compared to his, but he still showed incredible empathy and care for a total stranger.

The kindest thing anyone ever did for me was when Jimmy Savile didn't reply to my Jim'll Fix It letter. I wanted to be a fireman for the day and climb up a big ladder, but in hindsight I think I would have been made to hold the 'hose'.

The nicest thing anyone has ever done for me .. when I was about 17 my mum introduced me to two of her friends, both incredible artists - one a children's book illustrator and the other an art lecturer and stain glass restorer. They used to take me to life drawing classes, they taught me to draw and generally spent so much time and energy helping me to learn to draw and become an artist. 7 years later and I still go round for a cup of tea and to listen to their wisdom. They are the kindest people who share their wisdom and experience with me without anything in return. One of them is very ill and struggles with this, but still has so much time for me - I feel so lucky to know them ❤

Nicest thing was deffo when we were on the Isle of Wight. We were in Ryde and my youngest two aged 3 and 4 at the time and were having meltdowns at the same time. Was trying order some food, maintain composure and control. This amazing woman behind me in the queue sensing my increasing stress and embarrassment tapped me on the shoulder, expecting some nasty comment she instead gave me a reassuring smile and said it wouldn’t last forever, told me to sit down and she’d bring our food over, she offered to pay for it but I politely declined. Made a pleasant change from the usual tutting and judgemental looks you get 😊

Late to the party again. Sorry, I needed the, ahem, phone box. You should see if the house sellers want to buy your pic as a memento when they move. Bet they'll have a couple of bob spare! Parakeets are far worse than I have to say. And one of the most memorable nice things done to me was when my son's got t-shirts made for them and me, specially for the release of my first album. Unexpected, and put a big fat smile on my face, and a badly hidden tear to my eye.

Wait parakeets are just wild and flourishing in London? As for the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me....the one that stands out would be when I was out and about back in grade 9 and the weather went bad, I was far from home and I found out that I had lost my token for transit. I started to freak out and this random woman asks me what's wrong and I tell her my situation and she just gives me a token so I could get home. There is a story I heard years ago that sticks with me about a man who was caught short. He pulled over and found a fence to hide behind and do a terrible poo. Unfortunately it was under a camera. He later was arrested and put on the sex offenders list. He had done his business inside a kids play ground. Moral of the story is never pull your pants down around anything related to children. Wouldn’t it be awkward if you only got off on pooing in telephone boxes. And spare a thought for those people as the telephone box is nearly phased out. I hope he had dog poo bags with him. I guess this parrot lovely song gives you a hint of what living in Ausy is like with thousands of these per cm. A lot of Australians have hearing issues hence why to get an Ausy’s attention we have to yell kooo eee and Ausy Ausy Ausy oui oui oui.

(Aside from my mum doing the jolly decent thing of raising me after giving birth to me) I had an RTA after school in the 80’s when I rode my bike into the back of a car. It happened whilst i was wearing my fabbo snorkel jacket zipped right up in the manner of Kenny from South Park up due to the fact it was raining. A car had overtaken me before pulling over and then parking in front of me. I went straight onto the back of it and landed on the rear screen face first. That bloody coat was a hazard. Still, the driver kindly gave me a lift home whilst a mate, who i was cycling with, had to push my bike home. PS glad to say i got the question of the day correct for once 🎉 and with regards to “walk away shots” would it be an idea to tie a bit of string to your camera to pull it away and rescue it from thieving types? “If you’ve been traumatised by the phone box incident please phone…” 👍
