Coolermaster Masterfan MF120 Halo review
#mf120halo #coolermaster #coolermastermasterfanmf120halo
The coolermaster Masterfan MF120 Halo, Has a 9 blade design, It uses a rifle bearing, and this is an ARGB so addressable lighting this means it’s 5v not the usual 12v so before purchasing make sure your motherboard has the connector for it. Cooler master anyway provides with the product a wired RGB controller that will allow also those who don’t have ARGB motherboard support, to use the rgb lighting of these fans, the modes will have to be manually switched by pressing on the button of this rgb controller provided with the product.
We can’t really complain about this product: it comes at great price, you are basically paying less than 18$ per fan, it has top performances at this price range and the RGB implementation is basically impressive with great diffusion and non distracting lighting. I also appreciate the secure connection clips provided with these fans and the daisy chain connectivity. This fan is recommended especially for radiators due to its great airflow and air pressure performances, it easily beats the Corsair QL 120 for example or other rgb fans at similar price.
It has a fan speed of 650 ~1800 RPM
Airflow (CFM) 47.2
Air Pressure (mmH2O) 1.60
Fan Noise Level (dBA) 6~30dBA
Dimensions (mm) 120 x 120 x 25
Cooler master declares these fans make use of a Silent Cooling Technology which is a Mixture of Noise Reduction Technology and Sound Absorbing Materials Offering quiet Cooling Solution Even When Under Load.
I’ll be mounting these fans on a 360mm radiator so stay tuned and subscribe for more videos.

@fgtechtips

Hi thanks, you are right the lighting modes of the integrated controller are very limited but it's anyway good they included it. In order to get the best you need an argb motherboard in order to control them fully. There is no rgb to argb converter as I know, what you could do is to install a separate argb controller where the fans will be connected to

I know you get asked these a lot but I wanted to just be sure. Buying a Lian Li O11DXL-X O11 Dynamic XL ROG Certified (Black) ATX Full Tower Case and a ASUS ROG Strix X570-F Gaming (AM4) Motherboard. Based on the info on asus site, it says it has only 2 x Aura RGB Strip Header(s). These are the ones that lets the mobo control the LEDs on the Fans right. Given that I can daisy chain the LEDs on these fans, I am wondering if i can daisy chain all the fans into 2 sets and plug them to these 2 headers? Likely gonna need 10 fans.
@fgtechtips

Hi there would be the possibility of doing that but I am not sure it can handle the lighting power for 2 kits (6 fans on one argb motherboard header), you could buy an aura sync splitter 1 to 10 like the one I show in this video for less than 10 bucks kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIq9pJh8br1mirs

Okay, so I'm guessing you can do the daisy chain method and the fan splitter to after connecting them all, have one connector for the PWM 4 pin go into one of the systemfan headers and the daisy chained argb connectors to one connector into the argb header on the motherboard?
@fgtechtips

Argb Is daisy chained and only 1 connector goes to the motherboard (in my video you will see an argb splitter being used but that's the same) As you can see in the video the fan power is connected simply by using the provided splitter

@@fgtechtips Hello Friend. Thank you for your quick answer. I'm Brazilian and I don't have perfect English, so I didn't understand what you were saying much. A suggestion I saw on another site. KZbinr turned on the 3 FANs, left the video without any sound or music, and placed the camera that was filming very close to the FAN at maximum RPM. So I got a pretty good idea of the noise. But thanks for your attention and information. Sorry, this text was translated by google.
