This is awesome!! Thank you for inspiring me enough to design my own backyard course! Hole one and two are nearly complete for 6 and 8 irons. Hole three is designed for driver and 4 iron depending on approach. Hole four has a “fire hazard” for a unique challenge. Hole five will be an MC Escher shape island. Thanks again!!

I'm doing a bit of research because I'm planning to have a putting green installed in my backyard (nothing like this, though). Right now, I'm using stuff from the Anne Stone store to practice, but I'm sure a putting green would improve my game a lot more.

Same here. My 11yo son was recently being interviewed for a golf membership here in Sydney at a very exclusive club. At a pause in the conversation, young Will (a very reserved lad) looked at the President and said "I thought you'd like to know that I read the bible every night". The President looked at him and said that that was nice. A long pause later and Will added "The Dave Pelz Putting Bible". Brought the house down and he wasn't lying! Cheers - Dave

Dripping Springs is worth the trip. But not for golf [waste of time]. Have a leisurely meal at the Salt Lick Barbecue, one of the best places to eat in Central Texas.

About as many as were working on installing everything in it. After all isn't that how we feed ourselves? Work, buy food. If you want more food ( or a backyard like that one) then you just have to work a little harder to get it. If you expect me to feed you then you get leftovers. Simple concept, work for what you want.
