1 HERO DOESN'T SAVE A WORLD. TALKS AND LECTURE DOESN'T SAVE ANYBODY. WE NEED ACTIONS. WHAT THIS MAN DIS IN HIS REAL LIFE TO CHAMGE HIS IMPACT FOR NATURE? DOES HE MADE EVEN ONE CONVERSATION WITH A BUISNASSMANS E.G. WHO IS CREATING NOW SEA MINES BUSINESS? THIS WILL DESTROY ALL SPONGES. DOES HE CREATE A BUSINESS PLAN FOR SPONGE BUSINESS AND HE FOUND SOME THINGS HOW BUSINESSMANS CAN MAKE MONEY ON THIS? OTHERWISE WHO PUT THEIR MONEY FOR GROWING SPONGES AND HOW THEY WILL DO IT? DOES THE SPONGES NEEDS A CLEAN WATERS TO LIVE? DOES THE FISHING BUSINEES DO NOT KILLED SPONGES? I HAVE GREAT GENIOUS IDEAS EVERY DAY BUT MAKE THEME REAL-OK? TAKE A BITE OF A PRACTIC. FACE A WALL OF PROBLEMS, MAKE TESTS SO YOU WILL BE KNOW IS THAT IDEA IS GOOD OR NOT. THINKING AND IMAGING THINGS IS NOT ENOUGH. HE IS ONLY A DREAMER- NOT PRACTICAL LIKE ALL SCIENTISTS WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING AND THEY ARE LIVING IN A IDEAL WORLD OF THEORIES. THIS IS NOT SUPERMAN STORY SO WE ALL AND YOU TOO CAN DO NOTHING AND SLEEP WELL BECAUSE WE HAVE SUPERMAN. WE ALL NEDD TAKE ACTIINS AND CHANGE HABITS. WHAT YOU WILL DO? YOU CAN BE CLIMATE HERO ALSO WHEN YOU WILL CHANGE YOUR HABITS AND TRY TO EXPAND YOUR ECO DEVELOPMANTS FOR NEIGBERHOODS. YOU CAN TAKE THIS ACTIONS; - eco workshops in schools AND universities -don't buy food from supermakets, they sale to you meet from sick cows and chemical and gmo vegetables without vitamines which caused cancer: buy from bio farmers and grow by yourself -stop using chemistry IN your house and clean all surfaces just by a warm water and microfiber material, stop using bleach and wasching powder (natural liguids), stop using tablets and chemicals to waching dishes (boiled water and paper towells for removing fat) -start your garden: use all bio waste FOR planting your vegetables and don't buy IN supermarket, rest buy from bio farmers so they don't died without clients (open a shop or net shop) -tell everybody about eco solutions for new house: pasive house and recuperation (warm air taken from underground to warm your house), solar and wind energy, water filter IN your house against plastic bottled water, filter rain water to shower and garden, natural house building brick by brick and also natural paint (you can sale it) -learn everybody about bio gardening IN house or around even in a big city centers and using bio waste, learning people about don't throwing food just give to pure and save food from supermarkets and restaurants, stop using chemistry, organising bike tours and walks all years and fight against car using all the time - collecting garbage from wood and waters with kids and adults -creating local eco community and making 1 a week actions and meetings: watch whonis throwing trash to wood and rivers or sea, create patrols from locals-people who have dogs and going for walks -doing protest to be visible for publicity, going to media, providing social media and newspaper, yt channels -providing knowledge about healing and wild plant we can eat, sport without motors, herbs and nature and find experts: apitheraphy and honey, because ecology WILL be NOT interesting nobody if people don't have any good i comes right now from it not after thousand years -voluntaring IN hospital FOR Wild animals and making trips FOR schools and kids, feeding wild animals, creating anti hunting patrols ALL over the world -find eco scientists and promote them and donate them if they do smthng: recovering local plants ot houses for wild bees -fight with gmo food and pesticides, companies: MONSANTO, BAYER, IG FARBEN, DUPONT, DOW !!! Create econlectures for economists they must know what this conpanies IS doing to us, providing lectures for FARMERS about bio farming and open cages it will increase their profits -political activity and informing al politics locally and globally and try to involve also scientists -creating global eco network and try to get people internet closer and all NGO's IN one place on the web ao they can fin together and be good informed -organising eco parties and eco fun to connected this topic with pleasure

Well done Walter for bringing your observations and intelligence to such a pressing dilemma we all now face. You have explained the difficult concepts how to rebuild the earths soli carbon sponge. Well, well done. Knowing what and how is key and I feel you have delivered. That's empowering.

@@TheNightwalker247 We're glad you enjoyed this talk. Yes, floods and droughts are becoming more severe and frequent, but we have the solutions (now it's time to implement them) - restore the water cycle and soil health.

So the idea of having a front yard of rocks and succulents is backwards. You should/could have a lawn, just cut it at the highest setting your mower has, with a mulching mower that leaves the grass tips on the grass. This will capture more rain and carbon.
@BiodiversityforaLivableClimate
@BiodiversityforaLivableClimate 2 жыл бұрын
Maintaining a lawn also requires fertilizer and pesticides. And the roots of most lawn grasses are short, meaning they don't capture much carbon. A rain garden is a great way of capturing rain, and native plants are a great way of capturing carbon.

There is something the matter with what you are saying. i listened to 15 minuets and most of it was not about the solution you offer. So if the solution works, why do you not talk about it?

If you don't understand the cause, how can you creat a solution, It is worth listening to the full talk
@simonrobson9579
@simonrobson9579 2 жыл бұрын
@@fionasavage1 look. I do understand the solution. It will take some serious reeducation and a substancial change in the way land is managed by individuals. If it can be done it could work. The problem is that individuals dont all think alike and hate being told how to run their land so this cant be thought of as a real world solution. It's just like asking people to have less kids. Good luck...
@fionasavage1
@fionasavage1 2 жыл бұрын
If you apply that attitudes it can be said about all solutions. .
@simonrobson9579

@@fionasavage1 Sadly. You are right. All solutions that depend on individual behaviour are at best delay tactics. Governments need to take action. And even this might be too little too late. If the climate doesn't cool down by natural means... Then hotter it will get.

He has to explain what will work and what will not work. Otherwise you have vegan nut-jobs saying “Eat less meat”. Vegans and their policies have desertified California. Fortunately, smart Californians are moving to other states, buying ranches, mob grazing and adding acres and acres of carbon sponges to the world.
