I got a vest that has a quart bottle you were on your hip that you will with ice and some water. Otherwise works just like that one does. 109 heat index with high humidity You work in the full sun in comfort for an hour then you need to refill the ice container. The small pump and tubing is sensitive to small particles/derby that you might get on yours hands and contaminate the circulating water. Wash/rinse your hands before opening that zipper.

I have one of those as well. Quart bottle hanging off the hip is bulky and the hosing hangs outside of your clothes so is easily caught on things. Best I got out of it was about an hour with ice cubes and water. This vest looks more streamline so I'm thinking about giving it a try

How did it work fishing on the Gulf ?

It cools well. The only drawbacks were that the water and ice add weight (which I knew they would) and carrying extra ice packs. I mainly use artificals and cover a lot of beach when I surf fish. I got about an hour to 1 1/2 hours out of a pack. If you would be fishing out of a boat or fishing tight lines with a cooler nearby, you would be okay for extra ice packs. Hope this helps.

I have one with a heater works great. I'm curious about putting it up for the winter. How do you get all the water out? Will it mildew in the lines? Being from South Texas it gets hot here so I'm looking forward to hearing more about this product. I might use it due just walking 😊

The water in the holding tank on the back empties easily and dries overnight. But as far as the water in the lines and cells in the vest, I don't know how they'll do until I've used it for a few months. I'll do an update video around the end of summer and let everyone know. Thanks for watching!

I'm interested in getting one but the whole thing seems to good to be true especially the ongoing sale for $79.99 I couldn't find any written reviews anywhere or any videos that's not directly linked in their website which makes me think they paid these creators to show off their product.

I can't speak for other creators but I can tell you I wasn't paid a dime to do a review on this vest. They asked if they sent it to me would I do an honest review, and I did. I've worn it a few times, and it does work quite well. I haven't used it long enough to give a firm thumbs up or down, but once I have plenty of time in it, I'll do a follow-up video. If you're like me I don't want to spend money on gear unless I know it will preform well and hold up well over time. It does preform as advertised, but I can't speak to the durability until I've had it a year more (but I will do an update on that). Personally, I wouldn't risk the trust I think I've built with my regular views and subscribers on this channel over past several years by not being honest about a product. I hike in the back country for field work, so I am scraping through brush and briars all day in the Florida/Georgia heat. Like, I am not on trails, I am crashing through saw palmettos. Would this hold up to rough usage? Is it likely to get ripped up or ripped off?

I don't think it would get ripped off you, but I don't know if it would hold up to briars. It's a medium weight nylon type outter shell that might tear or rip with that kind of usage. I'd say it might not be what you're wanting for that kind of use. Hope this helps.

I have 10 cold packs that I use in mine. I can get a little over an hour out of each one. Hope this helps!
