Super-necro'ing because I just got one in the UK for £45 and it came with 72 darts which I am pretty happy about. "D" cells were never going to happen; ran it from an industrial 12V 20A power supply, it really pew-pews fast and hard. Definitely going to 3S LiPo it. Great video! I was unsure about it, but I'm sold, the review is bang on.

DO you think you could mod the Mastodon so that on that protective cage for the drum you put a Vulcan tripod on there? i think 1) it would look cool and 2) give it more stability than a regular rail mounted bipod. It looks like the Mastodon would be able to rest back just like the Vulcan did so it would sit nicely too. If someone who has both or knows LMK if it seems possible to attach the Tripod to there?
