Coors Edge Non-Alcoholic NA Beer Review for Dry January by A Beer Snob's Cheap Brew Review

Happy New Year! Up this round for Dry January is Coors Edge Non-Alcoholic Brew that is actually a malt beverage and not a beer at all. I've never done Dry January, but it is the 10th anniversary of people abstaining from drinking alcohol for the month of January so I figured I'd give it a try.

Fun series, might join in for the month. Lots of drinking over the holidays. Ive had Odouls before and didnt hate it, but i feel like when i had NA beer it was so bad it made me want real beer even more lol. I saw Sierra Nevada selling one at walmart so maybe that ones worth a try if you can find it. 🍻

Some of us drink zero alcohol beer because we've had kidney problems, but still want something that tastes remotely like a beer. Some view alcohol free beer as alternative for religious reasons. And some just like the taste without pickling our brains. I bought coors edge because it was $9.99 on the shelf - I normally buy Heineken, but thought I would try coors. The edge has no taste, and sure don't have no "edge". Tasted like water to me. I drank half a bottle, poured the rest down the sink, and will take the rest back to the store for a refund. I hope coors is watching your review - I had the same reaction as you did. But you are braver than I am - I sure wouldn't have drank the whole glass full !

I drink copious amounts of Coors and Busch NA. Coors is one of the most refreshing, inexpensive, low calorie NA beers out there.

I drank 6 of the Coors Edge's and 6 Busch NA's starting yesterday around noon, it's almost 9pm now and barely got a 2 hour nap in, without the alcohol I'm wide awake still, way more energy than I normally have. Usually I'll sleep well after 9 or 10 Coors light pounders, so it's an unusual experience having this much energy for so long, not sure if I like it yet. Also have to lessen alcohol intake because of a muscle relaxing drug I have to take for 30 days for back pain.

I have diabetes and a fatty ass liver. I had to revert to non-alcoholic. There are tons of them. You simply chose one that sucks. 😂

I am happy for you for finding some n/a brews you like. I like a lot of cheap beers its all about what you enjoy but man for me no way would I keep drinking beer if n/a was my alternative. Feel the same way about turkey bacon and fat free chips.

Well, here’s a hell of a reason for nonalcoholic beer ……..a study showed researchers used Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scans to measure the dopamine levels of 49 men when they drank non-alcoholic beer compared with a sports drink. They found drinking non-alcoholic beer resulted in significantly higher levels
