Get pulled over and harassed by cops...not racing at all...just living their normal lives....they always pull people over who do nothing wrong. Usually starts with exhaust. In my case sgt. Asshole ponder pulled me over, i asked him for the reason for the stop he immediately pulled me outta the car and sat me on the curb smh. Told me my exhaust was "not from mitsubishi" then i told him the law doesnt state it has to be OEM. Especially when he gave me my ticket and i searched up the code. It says "an adequate muffler and exhaust system" not "an OEM muffler and exhaust system" point is, they hate car enthusiasts and love making life hell. Thats why i left cali, not for any other reason.

That’s not exactly true in a lot of states there are laws concerning certain mods especially here in CA, exhaust over 95 db, non catted downpipes, adding a turbo or supercharger that isn’t carb approved. Non carb intakes, dark tint on Front windows. Excessive lift, or excessively low, All of these things are against the law out here. If you want to ignore state laws you pay to play point blank. Otherwise there is plenty of room to be a car enthusiast on the right side of the law. It may cost alil more for the parts but it’s worth not having to rip your car apart for the ref.

The ones with loud ass exhausts and subwoofers and make as much noise as possible in neighborhoods should be ticketed. Blast tunes on the highway, away from peaceful neighborhoods. Try to reduce exhaust noise as well... it don't make you go faster when you are louder. us old-heads know you're just seeking attention.
