I had a 2011 Toyota Camry hybrid with 450k miles i bought it for $5000 Drove the car for 2 years And sold it for the same price with 515k miles i never had no problems with the car.

The E500 has the SBC brake failure, Mercedes did a 25 year UNLIMITED MILE WARRANTY so u can take it to the dealer and have that fixed FOR FREE!! i have an 03 E320 and i got the letter from MBUSA so ur fine if the only issue is the SBC brake system

Yes! I was scrolling through the comments for someone to bring that to his attention! I just got my letter in September... just waiting on the inevitable failure now, haha! It put my mind at ease because I know how much of a mess these systems are and it scared me to death knowing how expensive the repair would be.

Out of everything you showed I'd go for the white Camry, they're legendarily reliable and long-lived. Give that one a good service and a nice clean up and that one should be ready to go right back on the road to give someone another 100,000 miles reliable motoring. I suspect the trans will be fine, it just looks like it hasn't had much in the way of professional attention judging by the lack of maintenance stickers but I imagine it has been serviced as I can't imagine it will have managed to rack up 170,000 miles on one cam belt/timing belt. Given a change of trans filter and fluid it'll be fine. It certainly looks like a car that has had decent care taken of it as it looks pretty clean all round for a car that has joined the 200,000 mile + club...

Silver E500 for sure. Those 500 engines are very reliable if maintained correctly, good for 400k miles some say. Also the coilover update is awesome. Buy it :)

The Mercedes e500 has SBC system. If the battery is dead and doesn’t have much power it can cause an error on the dash. If you want it get it started and see if the error clears after running it for a while.

I'd get the silver Mercedes, IF there is a recall as pointed out below, but first I would do some research on those new struts to see if they could introduce a New problem. perhaps they forgot to hook up an electronic part of the kit that bypasses the light? Suspension and brake would have to work together.

the camry is your best bet. those things are absolute tanks. even if the transmission is bad new ones are cheap. i’d 100% recommend purchasing that over the Benz.

Good afternoon. The Camry definitely. I'm partial to either Mercedes. I like caddys so that Eldorado coupe with that 3 stage paint is nice. Northstars when serviced & taken care of go 300k easily. A guy I know has a 2000 with that kind of mileage no issues. 300zx convertible is clean. I worked in a junkyard for 10 years u need boots for that weather. Have a good day.

Northstar engines typically go out around 80,000 to 100,000 once she hits 110,000 miles is good to go. You don’t have to take out the transmission to get to the TCC solenoid but it is some work involve to get to it.

The air suspension is fine on that range rover sport. They tend to drop if they haven't been run in awhile. Buy it would be a good flip

Love the Fair Lady. IMO, the T-Tops look much better on the 300ZX than the convertible. Plus, an automatic is no way to truly enjoy those cars. 5-Speed all the way.

the thing you refered to as the airmatic compressor on the e500 is the sbc brakes and that could be the reason that warning light is on not a cheap or generally easy fix just a heads up youtube has a lot of info on it do your reasearch bud got to get a code reader on that thing

The grey E-Class has SBC brake system, its not like normal hydraulic this is electrohydraulic, and the main unit (that u called airmatic pump) is not uncommon that it produces error codes after 300k pedal presses showing the pump is ready for change, it may be enough with just resetting via mercedes diagnostics
