Corvette cheap enough? Go for it. Mazda 3 are bullet proof little cars, cheap? Try it. Headliner in the van isn't hard to replace. Material is about 50 bucks spray glue 10. Pull cardboard liner down,clean old foam off with wire brush. Start from the center and work forward and back about a foot at a time. Get as many cheap vehicles as possible now. Tax season. I've got 22 ,over half ready to go. Take about 2 weeks to sell all of them. Keep working hard.

Damn that Corvette looks nice. Change the oil, drive it for a while and im sure it would be back to good condition, like with all flood cars, the longer you drive it, the drier it gets, and the more things start working. As for the minivan, seeing the Mopar Battery, what if it was dealer serviced? There is some profit to be made there. They is always a market for old minivans

I bought a minivan a lot like that one a few years ago from my father's friend's son-in-law, got it cheap because he couldn't fix what was wrong with it. The ones with rear heat have a set of metal lines that run down the back of the engine and they corrode. I looked up how you get in there to fix it and you take the wipers and tray off is all. I had it patched with a piece of hose and was driving it around for $20 and an hour or so of work. Then I sold it for $1300 to a guy who was going to part it out to fix another one. Nice easy flip. The corvette is nice but might be a hard flip.
@85rx7se5 жыл бұрын
The Corvette is a good buy if it is cheap enough. The electrical issues for things that don't work are probably due to water. So just unplug all the connectors, check for corrosion and clean them up as needed, they should work. AC Compressor is an easy change out for about $300 or so, but you do need an AC shop to flush out the system (for compressor warranty in case any debris is in the system) pull it down on a vacuum & charge it up. The camaro, not a buy to fix, but if cheap enough, you probably have a good engine & tranny and you can sell the interior and other parts.

I think that Grand Caravan could be a good option if the price makes sense. It rather looks like that one may have been dealer maintained and was a family second/third car that was donated when it was no longer needed. Doing something with the head lining and a good clean up would make it look pretty sharp. The C4 Corvette could be a good choice, it clearly was cared for before it went swimming. The transmission fluid looked a bit milky which suggests water has got in the trans, but probably not much so it might be fine with a flush and some new fluid. The question would be whether it is worth putting that work in and fighting with some, probably pretty standard, 'Vette iffy electrics, and also what the seats are like under those fairly unpleasant covers. I think that one would be better as a personal project than a car for the lot though, there doesn't seem to be a lot of love for the C4 yet, unless they're manuals or the beast ZR1. But for someone who really loves them that one would be a good base to make a really sharp C4 before the prices of the other, earlier cars start pulling them up too. Personally I've always loved the shape of the C4, it's a really good-looking car...

Buy it. Seems like the water got up to the console level and if that's the case, it didn't get high enough to enter the intake or the engine via the dipstick tube. You'll have some electrical issues and that's probably why the ABS light is on. Those are going for $12K + CAN where I live. If you put $2000 into it you'll make $8000 easy. Hell I'd buy it for a project car.

The Chrysler 3.0L was made by Mitsubishi for the 1987 Model year Caravan and then these were put in the P cars Shadow/Sundance C Cars Dodge Dynasty/New Yorker/Imperial/Fifth Avenue after 1989. T platform Caravan/Voyager/Voyager LE/Grand Caravan/Voyager/ AA platform Dodge Spirit/Plymouth Acclaim all used this engine. These are non inference engines meaning if you blow a timing belt you don't bend the valves. The only major issue on the 3.0L V-6 was the valve guides would drop and cause engine oil consumption and smoking out the tailpipe which if you live in a state that does inspection it would not pass emissions . The only way it would pass emissions if it was a 1995 OBD 1 tailpipe emissions as these are expect for 25 years or older at least that is the way they do it in PA.
