The 3.5L V6 in the Acura is a timing belt indeed. Good guess. They use these engines in the V6 accords as well, as well as many other Honda/Acura Platforms (ended in accords in 2017, all 4 banger turbos now) There lots of fun torquey motors, about 270-290 HP depending on how its tuned. That is a nice TL, like a baby with 44 k on it.

Keep an eye on the H2, i bet that can give you mad content, the rear damage can be pulled out easily, give it a shot! , It might go cheap considering it has 300k miles.

H2's have factory air suspension to higher the ride for offroading. I assume the car hasn't been driven for a while therefore its lowered.

1. Randy, the content you produce for us, is AMAZING. 2. In order to have reached nearly 300,000 miles, the HUMMER must have been exceptionally well cared for. If you had the time to have Copart hook a booster pack up to the battery, I’d bet that HUMMER would start up. 3. The transit agency where I live, uses Ford Transit vans, for supervisor vehicles, and for transporting people with disabilities.

New tires and the inside is like new .. I traded my 1990 sprinter mallard with a 454 engine 67k miles on the clock for this truck / suv...

A brush guard saved my 01 Tahoe a few years back. Had a deer run out in front of me while I was doing 60 mph. Drove away with only damage to a fog light getting busted. Still driving that Tahoe with 225,xxx miles. Had it for 5 years and have put 70,xxx miles on it. Haven't had to put that much money into it besides front wheel bearings, front cv axles, and an tensioner pulley

I agree, it was quite nice for the mileage. It looked great in white, too. I bet that the majority of the black smudge down the side would easily buff out and the rest of the damage on the side would be hardly noticeable because of the color. A few battle scars gives it some character, in my opinion. It does still look very nice.

Japanese cars like Toyota, Acura, and Nissan use 3.5 V6’s. American cars like Chrysler, Chevy, Buick and other GM cars use 3.6 V6’s. So Acura usually has a 3.5 and GM has 3.6.

I suspect a lot of the paint damage on the Acura might be from the crunch that put it there but the dent in the boot/trunk lid and the position of the seat suggest it had a very short driver. If that one's cheap it could be worth a punt, as a Honda, basically, with 40-odd thousand miles on it the mechanics should be absolutely solid and it looks like the damage is outboard of the structure of the vehicle so replacing the wing/fender and sorting out the suspension might be enough to sort it out. it even looks like the headlight on the left might have survived well enough to be repaired and re-used...

My family owns an auto wrecker in Canada and i got an 09 Chevy 1500 in that has a aftermarket bumper similar to that duramax and it took a lot of damage all around especially the front end and it would have been way worse with the stock bumper

I think Randy mentioned before that in Oklahoma, you need a dismantler's license to part out a car which he doesn't currently have (but I'd like to see him get one) but I bet there is great money to be made parting out that F150- It looks like the majority of the sheet metal is still in great shape as is most of the interior.

@@davebuck3944 believe me he is not exaggerating.. In Turkey 95% of all Honda Civic Sedans' frames have been bended due to normal daily drive causing a dent on top of the C pillar, just google it. I think this would be one of the biggest automotive scandals if it was happened in USA
