I got my 2010 Ford fusion sport back in December shockingly with a clean title outta copart. Both rear end and front end damage fixed it up with my dad and makes me money delivering pizzas. I'm gonna have to sell it pretty soon. It's a very fun car with the slap shift!!

I worked on a 2008 Focus a few years back. It had the shakes like the one you posted, there was actually a tech service bulletin from Ford stating to check for a pebble in the lower dog bone motor mount. Sure enough there was a pebble jammed in there, removed it and it smoothed it out.

We sell them like crazy . The vibration in the focus is the motor mount by the strut . We change them in every focus we get . The mount only costs $35 . It's a hydraulic motor mount change that and your vibration is gone.

The older ford focus motor mounts are pretty common for failure causing a bad vibration, so that vibrating your hearing is coming from the engine mounts, also that is a duratec engine :)

Copart DOES allow "booster packs". I bring one every time I go and have for years (including today). It would appear not all Copart locations are same and some may not.

The rotary engine seems to be so simple to rebuild, it cracks me up that everyone acts like it is magic! It's a triangle inside of an oblong circular shape with shims on the edges of the triangle that gives you your compression! Simply take it apart, replace the shims & use grade 8 bolts & POSSIBLY HONE OUT THE INTAKE & EXHAUST & DONE=NEW MOTOR! ROTARY MOTORS LOOK SO SIMPLE!!!! I AM SURPRIZED THAT ANYONE THINKS A ROTARY BUILD IS HARD!

The silver hail-damage Prius might make a good beater for someone, or if high-mileage Prius have decent values then maybe it might be worth repairing for someone who had the body skills to beat out or replace that roof skin as it is seriously rippled but otherwise you're right staying away, especially being as you can't start it to see how the mechanics and electronics are. I suspect that Cayman's future is either with a specialist breaker or someone who is going to bodge it up so it looks OK and then stick it back into an auction, sadly, but that shell is done, it looks like the front end is severely twisted...

Uber man, my family has a couple ford focuses. They're both 05. Ones mine, and the engine vibration is in all of them. That's just how they are. Might be bad motor mounts but ours do the same thing and have been running fine for years

yep same with my family's old 05 focus ZX4. it also did terrible in the winter. it had the "rear brake locking up" issue. took it back to the ford dealership because it had bumper to bumper warranty, and they said there's nothing wrong with the car. so i suppose it's a factory defect with some ford focuses. my dad said the car spun around 5 times going down the main drag in town and decided to return the car at that point immediately. we dropped the car at the dealership and put the keys on the front counter.

Lincolnator, huh. You seem to have had a bad experience with theirs. The only real issues we had with ours is one of our focuses we had to do endless serpentine belt replacements and the door is stuck shut and wont open. Other than that nothing major. Almost 200k miles. Our other focus was passed down to us recently by my aunt who was, not very good on car maintenance. We have brake issues atm and also the top of the oil cap is just sludge. That cars been through alot and powers through.

Those Focus's are notorious for needing all 3 motor mounts, thats probably causing the shake. Just replaced all 3 in a 04 focus and it felt good after

Inthink that damage on the moldy white prius radiator support was from it being lifted out of the water with a tow truck or something similar. Looks to have been pulled upward by a chain or hook.

I driven the Versa a couple times and they are horrible on the highway. The CVT transmission likes to slip and cause the car to hit redline at 70mph. But I've been loving my 2015 Ford Focus SE, I've put about 51k miles on it since I bought it new. I had a couple clutch issues, but I had the issues resolved and haven't had any issues for almost 30k.

Invest in one of those little pocket car jumpers to take around with you in the yard. It's saved me a couple of times from a dead battery. edit: I said this before you mentioned you're not allowed to carry them around. n/m

It may have been a previous vid, (I have been watching your vids back to back) you showed a 2nd gen focus & refered to the motor as a zetec, The intake was on the front side of the motor closest to the radiator= known for intake flapper damage & can dislodge & enter the motor causing damage & at least idle issues=duratec motors. The zetec was in 1st gen focus & intake is on the rear of the motor, closest to firewall-good guess tho! The hail damaged 239k prius @ 26 min(IF BATTERY IS GOOD?), Who cares about looks if it runs & gets 40-50 mpg? but, people are prissy until they are walking!

Absolutely love your vids i am from the UK and i think you need some education list as follows. Its not a "Hood" its a Bonnet. Its not a "Trunk lid" its a boot lid, No its not a "fender" but a wing.
