Really interesting proccess, I really liked the diagram of flow it looks very well done and very explicit to understand all the proccess. For the other side when they show how those robot hands organize the tubes for the packing part I really get crazy of that efficiency and develepment. Electrorefining is a process in which materials, usually metals, are purified by means of an electrolytic cell. The anode is the impure metal and the cathode is a very pure sample of the metal.

Yes. There anodes and cathode sheets. The impurities and rare metals fall to the bottom in a slurry that is then refined as well. The copper collected on the cathodes is stripped off and is 99.99 percent pure. These are surprisingly heavy. I got to see these procedures at Phelps Dodge in El Paso Texas in the mid 1980s as a teenager. They would never let anyone visit today without being an investor or industry professional much less a teenager. I feel very fortunate to have been allowed to see this great achievement in person.
