New @AlkotaCS hot water pressure washer for sanitizing and cleaning the trash cans and garbage truck that we use for our weekly trash pickup business. Getting the hang of it on equipment around the house before our next trash pickup. alkota.com/copper-creek-cuts/

will you ever clean the trash cans when your out for a service fee?

@@doodlemoogles9325 No. I don't have the infrastructure to clean cans on the trash truck.

I really appreciate how you've got all the equipment to nest together so nicely. It's even more satisfying than the cleaning LOL

Quick couplers for all your water hose connections and a water powered water hose reel. You will wonder how you lived without them.

I realize you dont have the infrastructure to go out and physically clean cans for customers at their house but perhaps what you can do is offer a "can cleaning service" every 6 months in which you go out and swap current customer bins for "clean" bins you have on hand. This way you dont have to stop at each house to clean 1 or 2 bins. You just pick up their bins and swap them out for "new/clean" bins. Then you can bring all the bins back and wash them at your house and have them ready for either new customers or for the next time your customers want a bin cleaned. It would be a great value added service that costs you minimally.

😂 Low effort intro to a new product. I filmed a ton when they dropped it off (all the technical question asking) but wanted to get some video of it out actually working to try and get feedback/questions while I edit the other video.

be carefull on the payments they can catch up fast.. i would start buying used stuff .. man you spent a ton of money on new stuff ,, i have not a clue how you are making money with all the new stuff.. if you can do a video on what stuff cost that would be awsome.. keep up the great videos. i have been in business for 25 years

Just wondering since it looks like you keep the garbage truck close to your home. Do you have any problems with insects from the truck infesting your home.Also the leachate odors.The smell of the wash water must be pretty strong. How do you handle that.

I wash it (inside and out) after every run. Without any trash in it there is nothing to stink.

I was thinking the same, but I thought of two things: 1. He knows what he's doing (kinda sometimes), and I should STFU and enjoy the videos 2. There's no HOA in his neighborhood, so "F**k 'em if they can't take a joke." More often than not, I usually lean toward #1. 😆😂😂

A sponsored(?) video with no words from a guy who is always vocally open and honest about products he uses (both positives and negatives) is something I would take as a warning sign lol.
@CopperCreekCuts2 ай бұрын
I would have thought someone making a video with a ringing endorsement or scathing indictment after using a product 30 minutes would be the bigger warning sign 😂 If I don't know anything about a product (good/bad/indifferent) there isn't much else I can do but show it working and let you make your own calls until I know enough to offer my own input.
@danh67462 ай бұрын
@@CopperCreekCuts You very much could have held off on making a video on a sponsored product until you had a better opinion on it. Making a paid promotional video and saying, in essence, "well, I only used it for 30 minutes, I don't want to say anything about it." is having your cake and eating it too. That doesn't sit right with me and I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to assume that if someone, who is being paid by a company to make a video about their product, says nothing about the product in said video, then it could very well be a "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" scenario.

Naw, i have been using a hot water alkota unit for a few years now, and it's great. I have had no real issues out of it other than basic general maintenance. I dont have the need for hot water often, but it's great when I do. Mine doesn't have the swivel casters makes it hard to move but other than that it's great.
@matt455402 ай бұрын
I don't think this was well that out, you'd be better off with some sort of sanitizing solution. You need to get bacteria hot and for long enough in order to kill it
@CopperCreekCuts2 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what research you are referencing, but 200+ degree water should kill the bacteria just fine! :D Sanitizer wouldn't hurt, but the hot water is for cutting the grease/fats/oils, not just killing bacteria. The heat doubling as a sanitizer is a bonus, not the reason for the hot water washer.
