And they have expanded their property portfolio by adding "the old church lot" and the "ARC"
As they continue to try to help the community of Otter Creek, Jeremy grows weary of the Town attempting to take money from him in ways he feels is illegal
He has begun to take a stand for the people against the inappropriate and illegal actions of the town employees & mayor
BUT a town resident is now threatening Jeremy with calling the "appropriate authorities"
Jeremy & George don't know why the resident would involve themself but they anxiously await the cops that were called as they continue to work on the schoolhouse

Happy Birthday Jeremy 🥳🥳 my granddaughter turns 5 on Friday which is a bittersweet day for our family not only was she born on my Dad's birthday. But shortly after she was born, she died for 2 minutes and I am in total belief that her great grandfather told her she was needed here on earth. Honestly, I’m impressed by the blessings you receive from the Hales community. Chris saved you all major money getting the HVAC systems running. Chris Jr gave you the first dollar in the ARC dollar sale. Travis and THE Sean Goodman pulling out the ceiling tiles to expose the wood beams! Amazing day . . . great to meet all your helpers but so loved Gail and some of her family arriving. Super that she was able to tell you more about the school. As an ex school teacher (I live in New Zealand), segregation just blows my mind that there were separate schools until the 1960s. You are right Gail, Jeremy and George, it is what is in the heart that matters, not the colour of your skin. Love seeing you, George and others express your faith and give thanks.

What a treat Ms. Gail was. A treasure. She's younger than me, I was in high school in Jax Fl during integration. Would be interesting to have her come and share stories of her life in the area. Odder Creek is truly one of the last frontier areas of FL. I have relatives in Gulf Hammock and so understand the obstacles of moving to the area. Can't wait to see what you do with the building. Jeremy, I'm from NC and was in elementary school when the schools first became segregated. Thankfully I had been raised by parents that felt with their hearts and we didn't ever realize that their was a difference even in skin tone. Both my parents worked multiple jobs at a time and friends that they had made through their jobs were always welcomed in our home, and they became family. We, my siblings and I had no issues when segregation began. Over the years, I have many friends of many different nationalities and skin tones. I love each and all of my friends no matter. God did not create anyone or anything for us to judge, that is for him to do. I'm not a big enough creation to attempt to take that away from him. God Bless you and that beautiful lady that God led you to. George is a wonderful woman and you both have been blessed. Thank you for standing up for the residents at "Odder" Creek. It appears that the government running that town would rather have that community appearing to be a drug user and criminal haven. You All the people from that community that reached out to y'all seem to be good people that just don't know how to handle corruption that has taken place to profit the so called leaders. I am a believer that, the Karma from God will come around those that have tried to profit off of others.

I loved meeting Gayle and reminiscing with her. THANKS Chris and ChriscJr for getting the AC operational. In 1960 I graduated from high school in Elmsford, NY, and in sept 1960I went to Bible College in Columbia, South Carolina. What a culture shock for me. There was still segregation in the south. My school in NY was biracial and do were my friends. Down south, I was so fearful that I would be hurt or for just talking to a person of color or being kind and helpful to an elderly person. I was so uncomfortable there I only spent one semester at that college. I was so glad to be back north, where I didn't have to choose my friends by the color of their skin. I agree with you Jeremy it's the heart of a person not the color of their skin that is important.

I'm so glad "Marilyn" stayed to help you out. I have NEVER laughed so hard as I did when Jeremy was putting on the Daisy Dukes! Every time I think of it I break up again. My husband's family had a 1953 Jeep CJ-3B in NH. When we were dating, he used to take me on the trails through the 100 acres of woods around the old family homestead. It was just like the gator rides, with branches in your face, bumps, holes, and hysterical laughing amid the screams. This part of the video brought back all of those feelings. Odd that previous gator trips didn't do it for me, but this time I felt almost like I was there. BTW, the Jeep is now in OUR garage, and our younger son has claimed it when my hubby kicks (his words). LOL How cool to hear Gail's memories of the school! How's Chris Jr. going to get that chair home?
