A cop arrives in six minutes over someone fishing? I once had a lunatic punch the hood of my car and threaten to hit me too. It took 30 minutes for a cop to arrive. Maybe I should have told the dispatcher that someone was quietly fishing, not bothering anyone.
@hanburgundy4317 Жыл бұрын
I had someone try to break into my car - they left a brick-shaped mark on my rear window and the brick itself lying on the driveway next to the car, then a perfect trail of footprints through the snow. The plows hadn't been through, but there was only an inch of new snow, and the tracks would have definitely led right back to the culprit. It was two hours before they sent one off duty sheriff in civilian clothes out to my house, and he refused to follow the tracks or do anything about it - wouldn't even file a report. I got angry and asked, "then what tf will you do?" He says, "we can patrol more often." I said, "yeah, you do that. Thanks for nothing." I should have lied and said I saw the guy and that he was black and they'd have brought the whole department end the dogs lol

I live in a neighborhood with miserable old people. There is no HOA so we can do whatever we please with our yards. We decided to rip up all of our bushes and plants. The last owners had a jungle. We were going to replant a garden but held off for a bit because it gets the old people's Depend Diapers in a bunch.

The point I didn't get to is that it's also an unethical, immoral job which is to tell people that it's Ileeeegal to fish in the king's streams where the king's noblemen posted signs, not without permission from the magistrate and paying additional taxes... smell the freedom!!!! +savaship what I've been saying for years. The fucking fish and rivers were here from the dawn of time and now they own them all of a sudden. Ridiculous.
@jamesguilford68078 жыл бұрын
According to fish and game officials, the rivers and lakes of this country were severely over fished prior to the time fishing liscences became mandatory. Now according to these officials it was the common people of the country whom depleted the nations fish populations. That is the official and most common version of the story. Not long ago I was reading about the history of the Great Smokey Mountain Park and I learned that prior to the parks establishment that wealthy sports men would frequently poison the waters within what is now the park in order to kill off fish which they did not desire to catch. After killing the native fish they would then stock the streams with mainly trout species from Europe. I have since learned that this sort of practice was carried out in waters in many parts of the country by wealthy groups of so called sportsmen. As time passed and it became apparent that the killing of millions upon millions of native fish, and replacing them with more desirable ''sport'' fish species was a mistake, the same groups of ''sportsmen'' responsible for the fish depletions then lobbied the government to pass legislation requiring Americans to buy liscences in order to pay for government restocking efforts. It so happens I should add, that many of the men whom belonged to the wealthy sporting clubs were and or latter became government officials, officials that is that took charge of the restocking efforts. So in a nutshell this is the true but abbreviated story of how Americans lost the right to even cast a line without paying for permission to do so. In a sense this story is one that has been played out time and time again in regard to many aspects of life since the European monarchs and their cronies enacted the enclosure laws which forced millions of common folk off the common lands they had inhabited for mellinia, in order to force them to seek employment in or near urban areas. Enjoy your freedom !

@skittlemenow8 жыл бұрын
Yeah most cops I deal with are okay with shaking hands because they recognize the importance of creating social connections and bonds. Especially when they arrive to a calm scene. It's shitty training to teach cops that shaking hands and being friendly is bad for safety. It intentionally puts them in an "us vs them" mentality.
@skittlemenow8 жыл бұрын
Oh I should include this type of behavior makes it harder for cops to be part of the communities they work in so it makes it much more difficult when they are investigating. When they are perceived as outside the community no one wants to give them even basic info much less will trust them with any important info.
@cameronmascari8 жыл бұрын
Yeah I know what you mean but I get it from their point of view, I was helping out a friend who got a DUI and was going to drive their truck home so it wouldn't be impounded. The cop did shake my hand but he seemed reluctant to do so, that's why I think they are probably taught not to.

+anthony miller You're obviously too ignorant to realize that this kid is purposely fishing on private just so he can make a video like this. Just look at his other videos. This isn't public property, and if you can't realize that by watching this video than well....you're a dumbass.

Some of these old people like to grump about everything, and call the cops for the littlest things. Some of these old people think they own the world.

What shocks me the most is the fast response time for something so trivial. But when things hit the fan, they take forever.

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he gets the cops called on his ass.

Love how the dog just stands there, and occasionally looks back, all like, "Seriously dude? We doing this shit again? ... so much for finding a nice tree to piss on at least :/" And granted I've only lived in Florida for the past year and a half... it STILL amazes me when people call fucking ponds "lakes" (yes I know, the pond/lake debate is strong but I'm from western NY originally where a lake is a fucking LAKE if you feel me lol)
