I know you can't be charged or sentenced for something you might have done, but no one in their right mind thinks those three cops in the first video hadn't done this before. It's sickening how the judicial system is on the side of law enforcement, even when they are the ones found guilty of a crime. If these had been citizens committing a home invasion - because lets face it, that is what it is but it's legal when you have a badge, what would the sentence have been? They used their badges to steal from people and got caught, but those badges saved them from prison.

This happened to my husband 1 year ago the cops planted drugs in my husband's car and he just came from the car wash so he knew nothing was in the car. The cops turned off their body cams and dash cams and planted evidence in my car and arrested him and took him to the jail didn't book him or charge him with anything at that time. They then told him we can get you and your wife back home to Mississippi if you just snitch on some people he said that goes against everything I am and he told them he wasn't going to do that. Now my husband is in a rehabilitation program for a year cuz of the cops and mayor of the town. The mayor told my husband the day he was sent to rehab I advise you not to come back to this county and it's best your wife leaves too he goes why are you saying that the mayor said you never know what can happen if she doesn't leave and while he was telling my husband this the camera in the holding was turned off which I know they can't do that. Nuts it's all good cuz I'm gonna sue the cops and the mayor

“Could be a threat” and “is an active threat” are two very different states with significantly differing impications for reasonable use of force. There was no hesitation, no police work, he decided before he got out of that car that he was going to kill those people and he did. 12 years for murdering two people.

He acted in fear. A lot of people would have done the same given the situation. It's hard to see through even clear car windows, worse at night, worse still when there's a ton of chaotic noise flashing lights and you don't know if the person in the car is pointing a gun at you. He may have acted wrongly but he was sentenced like he committed premeditated murder.

Officers are there to protect and serve not to be stealing peoples property. This is ridiculous. They need to be prosecuted to the fullest.
