@@novakitty1619 I take it you haven't watched many videos with them then? They all seem to have the capability of making all the wailing, whining, screeching, and crying noises on demand, and switching it off instantly when they want something, but notice something strange in every case? Listen to her again when they pulled her out of the car and while they were searching her - the hysterical crying, the deep sobbing, the rattling breathing, the helpless/victim tone in her voice, but listen when she talked about her inside jacket - sobbing and crying switches to calm normal talking without a care, and then back to sobbing and crying after she said it. Not to mention how long they can continue to "cry" hysterically. Then look at her face when she is turned away from the car....do you see one single tear on her face? One? With all that weeping and gnashing of teeth, not a bit of moisture anywhere? It's just a ploy to make them appear a victim, it's also an excuse they can use to act crazy with the cops - the are SO emotionally distraught that they couldn't help how they acted. Notice her face, too, when they asked her about the body in the trunk. Straightened up right quick didn't it? And if the cops don't accept the phony hysterics, then they call the cops rude racists that are disrespecting them!

@@lisae3663 I was thinking the same thing from the beginning when the Officer driving told the man to show him his hands. I’m not sure why the other Officer said “Relax, relax, relax….”…and then audibly sighed. The only thing, IMO, the driving Officer did was not remain calm (of course…due to the details they have been given) and he displayed his weapon. Again, IMO, he should have kept his weapon out of sight and act like it was a normal traffic stop. The senior Officer should have taken over at this point and said as such…a fast release of adrenaline and endorphins hinder a person’s ability to make decisions and even senior Officers make mistakes for the same reason. Once the perpetrator sensed the tension and saw a weapon he then took off probably thinking he has nothing to lose because he was going to jail so thought he’d go out in a blaze of glory…I watch many of these videos and served in the military for 18 years with a tour of Iraq therefore have seen how differently people react to differing situations. It’s called being human 🤷🏼♀️. I take my hat off to Law enforcement and first responders…the devastation and situations they deal with can be traumatising.

@@biskit77 Do you think cops go through special forces training, held to high standards of mental and physical prowess or something? In reality, they go through 2 to 3 months of training, which mostly consists of studying, before thrown into the world where they keep learning by practice as rookies. If you want them to be trained to high standards, they would need to be trained for at least a year or more. Which is not realistic, so you have to work with what you got. You already don't get the best applying to be cops in the first place, as the pay ain't for the best. So what you generally have is average to below average people, whom you only have the budget to train for a few months and somehow make do with. Or, you could pay for the best, and also pay for quality comprehensive training, and have less than 1/10th the number of cops, which ain't really acceptable. At the end of the day, no matter how well you train a cop, having 10 cops would still be better than having a single highly trained one. This is a situation where quantity wins over quality in function...

I don't think she was involved in the murder. I agree there should be consequences for reporting, but maybe it's a bit easy to say "oh, I would have reported it and I would have done much better." I don't think most people really know how they'd react if a close friend would show up with a body and tell them they killed that person. Not saying that you shouldn't report it (you absolutely should do that as soon as possible), but you have to agree that this can be a bit difficult if you always thought only the best from your friend and then you're confronted with this without any warning or time to think about what to do.

It appears the pursuit was going to be terminated due to slippery road conditions. Just as they're about to initiate that call (listen to radio comms between the primary & dispatcher), the suspect vehicle lost traction, and skidded off the roadway, hitting the vehicle in front of the house. The impact was hard enough to cause the trunk to pop open. The murderer/driver realized the odds were stacked against her, so she offed herself. The slippery road conditions hindered a speedy response from the backup officers and the EMS. EMS had to stage off at a safe distance, until the scene was fully secured. JMO

She called her store manager in a panic realizing her room mate was deceased. Her manager told her to call 911….THEN call her back ASAP. The 3 day meet was extended to 4 so everyone could deal with the emotional trauma and interviews with officers. When I met the teacher for the course he made a “bad” joke about it asking us ALL to come back the next time morning alive please. Dark humor some helps with sanity sometimes. Yeah that should be a crime, tampering with evidence. Definitely don't agree with muting or shutting off body cameras while on the scene. They should not be allowed to mess with the camera at all. They can always edit out or mute stuff that they don't want the public to hear (police tactics or personal info), so that's not an excuse
@Biomess12 ай бұрын
Until they write out an official statement of the incident, they should not be rehashing what happened verbally on the body cam of the first officers on scene. Because all of that is viewable if it went to court, and if they said things happened in the wrong way or order before they have time to calm down and go through what actually happened, there could potentially be a liability issue or a lot of back and forth explaining in court of "why did you say this" or "you said it happened this way, but then said it happened another way", etc. The whole incident is on camera, nothing that comes after, with the cops talking to their Sgt, needs to be filmed unless they are still interacting with the subjects or the crime scene.
@Yes-iu3kr2 ай бұрын
Body cam rules differ by jurisdiction. Im guessing that this one has a rule negotiated by the union that body cams will be turned off during any investigation or accumulation of information for an investigation into an officer. Since an officer used force (fired weapon) and may be responsible for the death of the driver (though it is unlikely)...the CO has to begin an investigation. That investigation will determine (1) if the officer killed the subject and (2) if the use of force was justified or unjustified. Again...likely a rule to turn of body as during the collection of evidence for that seco day investigation and likely negotiated by the officers union.

Always surprises me that US police car equipment doesn't seem standardised? They’ll be reprimanded but a reprimand will do f’all. Nothing good was happening there that’s for sure. The fact that all of them went along with it too, is really troubling.

Woah, I can’t believe I’m seeing this. My coworker at the time had known Dominique for years so I heard a lot about this.

Lol. The 1920's Tudor. I used to live in Royal Oak in a house just like these.

@@1w598 Lived in Royal Oak myself as a child. Families house was the oldest in the entire state, Starr house in Royal Oak Michigan. Would never want to go back to Michigan. Not a nice place to live at all outside the richer areas. Not what it used to be decades ago either for that matter.

Why? Is there a backstory about the houses?

No ambulances in that town apparently. So they can turn off their body cameras whenever they want to be dirty or what?

That first cop that was driving needs to learn to try to stay calm during situations. When they first stopped the car and were giving orders, he was already screaming and acting crazy. His partner had to tell him to relax and get him refocused. This is the type of cop that is scared and will kill innocent people.

Probably new from training, and this was his first big thing, and it was a super hectic first thing. Dead body, unable to access the vehicle, driver armed, passenger a victim, both pinned in the car, being shot at. A lot is going on. This was good training. He was still cool headed enough to act with reason and even hear his partners guidance. If he was unhinged, he would have just started unloading and doing all sorts of crazy stuff. He's clearly cut out for the job but had a stressful encounter.

He was clearly a rookie, that calmness comes with experience.
