"A black resident of Eastpointe, Michigan has filed suit against local police after they tied him to a chair and beat him so severely that he permanently lost the vision in one eye.
Detroit’s Fox 2 News said that Frankie Taylor was arrested for driving under the influence on Aug. 10, 2015, but what happened when he arrived at the station was like something from a nightmare - and cameras caught it all.
“If you keep acting like a child, you’re going to get strapped in that chair and you’re going to stay there,” an officer can be heard on tape telling Taylor.
The station’s surveillance cameras caught officers carrying Taylor to a chair and restraining him, then threatening to tase him. Another officer entered the frame, donned a pair of gloves and began to beat Taylor savagely until he lost consciousness.
“Stop resisting,” the officer robotically repeated between blows to Taylor’s face and head. “Stop resisting. Stop resisting.””*

And they did it all with the knowledge that their actions were being recorded and stored in a database for later use. They were aware that there wouldn't be any serious repercussions for their obvious crimes. They usually get paid time-off, from having to do their job, BECAUSE they didn't do their job. Everyone else gets fired when they don't do their job. The incentive structure is flipped. It seems that the more heinous a crime is, the longer paid vacation they can get for committing it. I would guess there are easily about 1-3 million violent crimes committed by police in this country each day. It's likely higher, but I'm trying to be conservative with my estimate, and I think those numbers are not recorded because police are given the benefit of the doubt, even though that is contrary to the laws. We're fucked.

You can also throw a shoulder in a threatening way even with cuffed hands. The point is, don't make any threatening movements towards a cop with any part of your body. Why not force them to work in guarded, privately owned colonies where their labor goes to their victims and to the upkeep of their own families?
