look how the officer escalates this every step of the way, taking away her rights, he knows he can jam the guy up on probation requirements and is attempting to use that to force her to give up her rights or he is going to make it difficult for her friend... this is abusive behavior by the officer... cuffing someone who "might need help"...

No my friend they are doing precisely what they are supposed to do, which is to harass and intimidate working people to instill fear, in service of the rich. They don't give a damn about 'crime.' They are the criminals. Cops run drugs, protection rackets, brothels, etc. just as side operations, while they protect their bosses. Whose the criminal? The homeless guy or the slumlord?

Never ask or say please to a cop, it only reinforces the idea in their heads that they have more authority than they do. You put yourself in subservient position when you do that. Insist they call you Mr or Ms and your last name. You AREN"T friends and they won't have you using their first name, why let them get away without showing YOU the same respect they insist on? If nothing else, it puts them just a bit off balance and let's them know they can't push you around like they do to so many others.

Dukee The search of the purse is completely illegal, he has absolutely no authority or rights by law to search her purse! But like any Corrupt Cop he is using all the intimidation tactics possible, and violating as many of her rights as he sees fit because he’s assuming she has no idea about the law or her rights, which is what way to many of these Corrupt pieces of dog crap do today! Rather than upholding the law they are out there breaking it at every chance they get! The so call Police are very much worse than most of the criminals on the street today. I would far rather take my chances with the criminals before I ever called a Cop!

I love the "you're not under arrest, you're being lawfully detained"! Most of us, very instinctively, do not feel “safe” when a cop rolls up behind us. Mostly when we see one in general. In fact, we feel nervous and stressed, because we know instinctively that the cop is most emphatically not our “protector.” We hope the cop will “give us a break” that is, decline to fully enforce the violation he believes we’ve just transgressed. - Grigg Now you have choices to be adversarial, neutral, or subservient. 1. If you are adversarial, depending on how irate you get, you may get yanked out of your car, searched, your car searched, taken to jail, car towed, all for expressing your outrage, and first amendment rights. 2. If you are neutral, you crack the window, turn the interior lights on, place your hands on the steering wheel, ask for the offence that you were pulled over, exchange information once you have your question answered. As long as you communicate through the cracked window you still may get removed from the car, bullied into compliance for search of your car, or even threatened with arrest. Stand firm, record everything, and ensure that the officer knows it. It deflates egos. 3. If you are subservient, again you open the window fully, turn the interior lights on, place your hands on the steering wheel, ask for the offence that you were pulled over Using “Yes Sir/ma’am, How may I help? Sure, you can search. Is there anything else that you need?” Opening yourself to all sorts of legal liable, for anything that someone somewhere might have left in your car. Maybe he could be one of the bad ones, you never know, and then it hits you! Who has been driving my car? Who did I give rides to in the last … however many days sense you cleaned out your car? It doesn’t matter you accept all authority over anything in any car you are driving. That’s right anyone’s car. Granny needs you to take it in and she dropped a med on the floor, BUSTED. It doesn’t matter that it was her car, it was unsecured medication, not prescribed to you. Now you have a charge, and that’s all they care about. “Serve and Protect” has become “Harass and Collect”, and they’ll get you anyway that they can. Ever heard of bullies with badges (see www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2014/01/23/connecticut-police-officer-part-%E2%80%98bullies-badges%E2%80%99-group-gets-five-years) Don’t worry the police are here to serve and protect us, right? Well you would be wrong there too. The Supreme court has explicitly laid this out; i.e., “cops have no duty to protect specific individuals from harm.” Just “society.” That means you are on your own where it matters most; the one area where most of us would agree having some back-up would be nice to have. “I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.” - John Steinbeck

Your ID, yourself, and personal information is personal private property protected under US 4th Amendment from any unlawful search and seizure. Without a "crime" (incident resulting in a victim) or a warrant to search or seize, any restraint no matter how slight and without consent is an unlawful arrest and false imprisonment. Lawfully decline any ID request by objecting and stating, "I do not consent to any search or seizure when there has been no crime committed or warrant of me!" Always vocalize your objections and let it be recorded as your evidence vs. substandard under trained public servants. Anything by unlawful seizure can not be used as evidence in court. Also, if Miranda rights have not been disclosed to anyone in arrest nothing the arrested has said, even if it was self incriminating...can not be used as evidence! Keep up the work Aaron of CW! The community deserves better and better use of our tax funding.

Seems like the average salary for these officers are $100000. $8,333 per month. $277 per day. $35 per hour on an 8 hour shift. Harassing people with 4-5 officers who were cooperative that is $140 wasted in an hour (really low balling the amount here). They probably do this 4-5 times a shift so that is $555 wasted in one shift rotation. That is a months worth of rent, car and credit card payment and insurance, 2-3 months worth of groceries for a family of 4, 4 good used tires with oil change and tire rotation. 3 year gym membership at planet fitness. So much money is wasted that is not even necessary with the police. Wasting $1000s per day. If they harass and douche every other day for one shift over pointless stuff, in one shift of cops standing around doing nothing for nearly an hour (meanwhile a rape, a few murders, robbery, domestic violence, car jacking) several times a day, that is $88,888 a year wasted for harassing people while real crimes are happening. If that happens in 3 shift amounts that is $266,666 per year wasted on a low balling average amount.
