Just made this soup today! Delicious! I used a half block (4 oz.) of sharp cheddar and it was very cheesy! Next time I will leave out the salt! 😊 TFS ❤️

You said you added an additional half cup of butter after you sautéed the onions; however, it appears you added only 1/4 cup butter, or four tablespoons.
